Since Aleksei builds his suit and it looks cheap, I think that once he joins the Sinister Six, Oscorp will give him a better suit that could look more akin to ultimate rhino's design.

I like this idea.

It does feel like yesterday. Heck, it's about to be 2 months since that trailer! Jesus.

My god, it has been that long. Before you know it, the movie will be out already!

It should. It probably will. But with any movie that has this many CGI shots, by the time the final cut is released there will be a spectrum. Some CGI will be mind blowing, i.e. finding out the entire HS fight from ASM was all CGI, to most falling into the average or believable range and then finally there will be some shots that don't quite feel up to par, i.e. some shots of the Lizard from ASM.

Oh yeah, you're probably right about that. I think most of the shots in Times Square will be superb for example, but the clock tower/power plant battle will have a few "iffy" moments. Either way, I think the CGI will be very good overall.

I do not care for Rhino's design at all. It aesthetically looks messy and too busy, which is exactly why people are saying he looks like a Michael Bay Transformer.

I'm not surprised though. Lizard's character design sucked, and Electro looks like Batman & Robin's Mr. Freeze, so ... Whatever. I would be angrier if I cared a little bit more about this movie.

If there are people out there who love it, then good for them. Enjoy the movie!

I like it too. He has a 'horn' and gets on all fours. So yeah, I'd say he resembles a Rhino just fine. Looks imposing too.

If having a bad villain design ruins the movie for you so much, how is Spider-Man (2002) ranked so high in your opinion? The Green Goblin looked like a Power Ranger in SM1. Yet it's your second favorite CBM.

I'm not trying to question your preferences, just your logic.

Green Goblin from SM1 is probably one of the worst costume designs I've ever seen in any comic book movie thus far.

I appreciate some design changes. Others I'm not too crazy about. I didn't care for the stiff mask of the Raimi Goblin. But I really liked the color and glider. I also really liked Bane's design from TDKR, and that's about as far from the look in the comics as you can possibly get. So, for me, it's all up to preference, not necessarily some sort of standard or logical pattern, if that makes any sense.

That makes sense to me. Thing is, not everything translates from comic book to film, so changes are almost always necessary.

I see what you mean. From there I'll make a wild guess and say Spidey jumps on top of Rhino and attempts to pull him out of the cockpit.

I think Rhino is going to charge towards Spider-Man and then get hit with the manhole cover. As for what happens afterwards… I have no idea. lmao

be pretty funny if the manhole breaks the armour. could happen, given rhino is there for comic relief.

i'm not expecting the fight to last much longer after the manhole attack. anything more is gravy. i mean, there has to be a limit to the budget. cgi fight scenes are expensive.

i still can't see any real resemblance between the rhino in the trailers and the abomination in the poster-banner.
