what i remember most is the predator in a bathroom of an old womans home, and danny glover at a cemetary, and the predator ship at the end...

If they use the prison i want to see it be some dark and grimy hellhole as opposed to a high tech fortress.

Talk of a Predator 3 is in the air for the Strauss brothers and they are suggesting it will be set in a prison, personally i love this idea but where would you guys like to see it set ?

I would like to see what the Predator's planet looks like.

A prison? Why? That doesn't sound good to me. The Predators would run through that place within five mintues.

As I mentioned earlier, claustrophobic setting, uneasy alliances and the moral dilemma for the audience.

Heh, I just think giving the audience that question, of "Support the scumbag or the beast ? " might be a fun part of the flick. t: Especially if the prisoners are written well so that they have a certain charm but their ugly deeds keep coming back to conflict the viewer.

People always support Predator, I haven't met one person who wasn't against him. To me, he's more like a hero.

I had previously suggested in I think the Terminator Salvation thread for a Predator 3 placing the movie in a more desert area in the Middle East (use the War on Terror to establish military people in the desert area, BUT DON'T MAKE IT A PREACHY ANTI-WAR MOVIE!!! I just want to use it as an excuse for soldiers fighting a cool alien).

I vote desert cause we got a city and jungle, so the desert terrain area would be a cool and logical next step.

EDIT-My thing with a prison is that Alien 3 kind of already did this, and I don't think the Predator movie would be that much different. It would be cool, but I think the desert would be more unique.

I don't think we need to see their homeworld...I think the concept is cooler if they are just aliens that hunt us. I think a movie on the homeworld will only disappoint people (you know how fanboys and their imaginations get).

Thus, stick to the Predator movie formula. Big group of people get hinted, they start hunting Predator, one person ends up beating the Predator (in an awesome fight).

That is what I look for in a good Predator movie. Not alien races and how their civilizations run. Oh, and the human characters can't suck. That is a big deal breaker for these movies.

Under Siege meets Predator? Could work...though it would have to be something big with lots of people (like an aircraft carrier or something).

I'd prefer that over a prison....cause like I said, we have seen Alien 3 (some may not like it, but it was no less made). I don't hate the prison idea mind you...just not as excited about that idea as some other ones.

Didn't the Alien series already do a prison setting? Was it Alien 3? I like the idea of having it take place in the past. Maybe the Civil war or even World war 2.

Using the jungle and city again would just get repetitive and boring. The desert setting is another I wouldn't mind. A prison setting i'm not to sure about.

I don't want it to be in a prison or in Alaska cause it s gonna look like a low budget movie, as for jungle and the city its deja vu. I Really miss the space movies there is not much space movie anymore so predator planet would be great!
