preview of "one more day" SPOILERS

Anyway, this has gotten a bit off topic, we're restarting the organic vs web-shooter debate when we should be concentrating on how awesome it is to finally see pete PWNING stark!

I refuse to get too excited b/c I'm sure the panel after tony gets mummified is anything but awesome :csad:

Yeah, there's no reason Tony couldn't just tear through that webbing. Weaker characters, including Peter himself, can and have. It doesn't really make sense to have Peter beat Tony, especially after the Extremis upgrade and Bendis' firm belief that Tony's armor is capable of literally everything, but I'm still hoping for a Firelord-like pwning because Tony just deserves it.

did you read the ASM tie-ins. JMS HATES IRON-MAN and the pro-side. Previously he had to work within civil war conventions. This is entirely his own story so if he wanted he could have Dazzler beat iron man.(Man that would also be awesome :D)

Man, I'm so not interested in this at all.

Shouldn't the new Vision be Tony's superior considering he was originally a more advanced version of thee IM armor?

key word there is originally. Tony updates his armour constantly to keep ahead of the game. The whole point of the armour is that it is literally constantly at the cutting edge of technology

Technologically, you mean? I thought it was a given that Vision Jr. was easily way beyond Tony when Iron Lad kicked Tony's ass.

The new Vision is Kang's armor. Kang's armor was at the cutting edge of technology, too--for the 30th century. Ergo, Vision Jr. technologically pwns Iron Man for the next century or so.

Yeah, but Iron Lad was from like 1000 years in the future.

Yet Vision pwned Tony's armor.

Indeed

Yeah, technologically. Was just makin sure

but every time he gets beaten he adds some new gizmo to protect himself. Kind of like doomsday, for the most part you can only beat him the same way once and then he'll find a way to protect himself. The iron man armour is like evolution in tech form.

I'm surprised Tony hasn't used his new villain mind control powers to get Reed to reverse engineer Vision's armor.

There's nothing you can do to a 1985 computer to make it run anything like the computers that will exist centuries from now. It's like NES vs Wii.

up up down down left right left right b a b a select start

But the nes had that awesome robot

The wii is cool but nothing compares to that robot

but that's the thing, he doesn't simply upgrade the armour. If he can't upgrade the existing armour he just builds a new one. I mean what version of the armour are we on now, it must by be somewhere in the high 60's. Not to mention that tony has the resources of both stark industries AND shield at his disposal now as well as complete files on vision. I'm sure as part of the act vision will have to give complete complete disclosure of his own technology, and who keeps all the files...?

What if the materials(metals, etc) don't exist yet. Just because you have a recipe doesn't mean you can make dinner.

I don't think Vision knows exactly how he works as he was just kinda downloaded into the armor.

Stark had of time to study him, seeing as he was staying at Avengers Tower since his creation.

That still doesn't mean Tony would've been able to decipher the Vision's body enough to reverse-engineer it. It's like a child looking at string theory--I'm sure he'll be able to understand it one day, but it's not as easy as looking at some schematics and going "eureka!" Besides, the point is moot. I have yet to see Tony exhibit a fraction of what the Vision II is capable of, so clearly he hasn't integrated the tech into his armor yet, even if he does have it.
