I hope Prometheus will turn out to be like The Avengers, one that not just meets our expectations but actually surpasses them.

I've been listening to the soundtrack a lot. I think it is suitably creepy and atmospheric. Some parts seem kinda uplifting and triumphant, but i think that serves the more "adventure" side of the film, like the first half. But then it's all downhill. The ambient almost industrial Trent Reznor like sounds have a really unsettling vibe.

The two tracks from Harry Gregson-Williams by no surprise are my favorite pieces.

Honestly I'm starting to prefer "The Planet" and "Engineers" even more then Life, though don't get me wrong it is amazing as well.

I don't think i could pick a favourite. But i really, really love Infected and Friend from the Past.

Infected i guess is when we see the fate of Holloway's character. The track starts off really creepy and disturbing, then ends with a really sad, sorrowful sound. Maybe representing Shaw and Holloway's relationship coming to an end, in the most grisly, heartbreaking fashion

And i'm a bit late to the party, but that shot of Spall's character getting "face raped" is truly sickening. Imagine if this film did get cut to ribbons to be a PG-13? We wouldn't have scenes like that.
