I still know that Bane ****s Batman up, he goes into retirement for 8 years, Bane takes over Gotham, in the end Batman makes a triumphant return and wins.

What's your point?

Eh, Batman doesn't go into retirement because of Bane beating him up. :)

Semantics! Bane beats the crap out of Bats. He goes into retirement for 8 years. OMG THE FILM IS RUINED!

I haven't over-analyzed a thing. I still know that the crew goes to the planet looking for mankind's creators, are somehow mutated and must stop whatever is trying to get off the planet from getting off the planet.

Your point being? That's called a plot outline not being spoiled.

He is retired when the film starts though, before Bane beats him. ;)

I just realized, Blue Sugar sounds like a drug.

Or a prostitute.

:o

I'm actually really surprised there has been no reviews "fully" yet. The film comes out in one week in the UK, I was hoping to hear some stuff.

I believe his point is "Nolan does movies better than Scott..DURRR!".

It dropped to 55/100 on the BFCA site :csad:.

Broadcast Film Critics Association.

I imagine a few members have submitted their reviews to the site. Of course, it's impossible to tell at this stage how many reviews this 55/100 is out of.

I can't believe it would garner such low reviews. :(

I just can't...

This is the organization that holds the Critics' Choice Awards every year, by the way.

Here are their scores for a few movies that are out now. The Avengers leads the pack with 90/100:

As low as the likes of Battleship? I can't see that happening.
Voting is probably still in progress, so we can expect the score to fluctuate over the next couple of weeks.

55/100 sounds bad, but we have no idea how many votes have been submitted at this stage.

I can't see why or how it would be this low though. Maybe we're over thinking it but still.

Even if it's just counting one review, I can't believe someone would rate it so low...

We don't know how many reviews they've counted. I was just saying that even if it's one review I find the score to be lower than I expected seeing as this is Ridley Scotts return to the genre.

It has to be more than one review, seeing as how it was at 90/100 the other day. If only two reviews had been submitted at this point, then the second reviewer gave it a 20/100.

It has to be more than two. A 20/100 is just... Damn.

well the critics screening is next week on the 31st. We'll find out soon enough.

Yeah, it depends on the person. A Rex Reed type, you know, who is literally out of touch probably did give out a bad score. I'm being realistic.. I can't see it being an F-.

This and "Piranha 3DD" will be the film blockbuster franchise of the summer.
