Prometheus confirmed to shoot in Iceland next month


Icelandic newspaper Visir (in English) confirms today that Ridley Scott will be filming part of Prometheus in Iceland.

According to the newspaper filming on location will last a week next month, and the movie's stars Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce and Noomi Rapace are rumored to take part in this shoot.

Prometheus' locations production manager Sam Breckman is currently in Iceland prepping with Icelandic production company True North Productions, who have previously worked on movies such as Tomb Raider, Batman Begins and James Bond: Die Another Day.

It made me realize how adament Scott seemed of this basis for the idea of this film. It goes back so many years. I doubt it changed much.
