Correct me if I'm wrong, but was mask of zorro done by Martin Campbell? Or was it legend?

Both. But don't let that deter you or anything. Campbell's as good as his scripts. For every Green Lantern and Vertical Limit and Legend of Zorro he has a Casino Royale, Goldeneye and Mask of Zorro.

Seriously, it's a movie where EVERYthing works. Music, action, directions, acting, cinematography, everything.

Well, *ducks*...I didn't think green lantern was *that* bad. I quite enjoyed it.

That being said, Goldeneye and Casino Royale are two of my favorite bonds (Goldneye being #1), and are some of my all time favorite movies ever. I'll give it a spin sometime soon

Nice. For me GL was a perfect 5/10. The epitome of mediocrity. There is no way I can hate that movie, but no way I can bring myself to love it, either.

But to get slightly back on topic, your opinion of Horner will probably increase when you watch Mask of Zorro. His music is one of the most lively and vital parts of the movie.

Well it was no great movie, but it was a fun ride, which is what I was expecting.

Hopefully, I'll give it a whirl sometime soon, and I'll get back to you on that

The script of Green Lantern wouldn't have even been that big of a problem if the movie would've at least looked good, but CGI was way too crappy & cartoony for me to believe any of that was happening, even in the universe that the movie created. I mean for christ's sake, the couldn't even make Hal's costume look real.

I don't know, the general story may have been interesting, but the screenplay itself... Meh.

Funny how this person only talks about how bad the music is in these score threads but no one uses the word "troll". I find that...interesting.

Are you calling me a troll...? If so, I don't think you know what a troll is. A troll is someone who purposely goes against the positive opinion to be annoying/start fights. I'm not doing that. This thread is for the movie score/composer. I came in, saw the links to the 3 songs, listened to them, wasn't very impressed, voiced my opinion on them (Very casually and calmly, might I add) and went on my merry way. That's not a troll.

Look at the TDKR thread for the score, and anyone who says they don't like the music samples is looked at as a troll or told to shut up because everyone else is enjoying them. (I like the Batman-specific samples because that's always been my favorite part of those scores, beyond that I don't have much of an opinion either way about them)

Ohhh. Why, thank you, good sir! I'm glad to see that us finer folk here on the Spider-Man side of this land we call SuperHeroHype can appreciate one's taste in music without being labeled a troll.

And to be honest, I'm even less impressed with The Dark Knight Rises soundtrack.
