The Amazing Spider-Man Reboot composer? - Part 1

This score is magical you guys. I love it so much.

Considering that a great score goes a long long way in making me like a film (i can even forgive shoddy writing and acting if its got a great score) i', hoping james knows it out of the park with this. (listening to it now)

havent listened to it but does any track come close to the elfman theme?

that theme is a masterpiece and quite iconic imo

gonna have to listen to it myself because i find it hard to believe

because i even still consider elfman's batman theme superior to zimmer's

Horner does give a slight nod to Elfman's score in "The Briefcase".

Listen at the 1:38 mark.

I'm not sure what's going on. Perhaps some temp track love from Sony, maybe it's an accident, or maybe Horner is stealing, but Elfman's responsibility/Peter theme makes a fleeting appearance around 1:38 into track 5.

Or maybe it's deliberate, not "stealing" as you put it.

Horner's giving Elfman his due and it's a good thing.

Lizard At School is rousing!

Gotta say, I haven't been impressed with Horner's work for a while, but he's wowed me with this.

This fan of the 'hack' just sent Hit-Girl a message.

Creative, but no.

The source of the YouTube music is what I've been PM'ing to people all day here.

I know that because I'm familiar with the YouTube uploader from a different forum.

You sure you ain't gonna get banned for that?

A score really helps the movie. It can even hit all the right notes even actors sometimes cant.

The music was at a streaming website, and all I did was make it easy to find for people here because the site had a geographical restriction on it, limited to Chinese users. I'm not Chinese or in China but I found a way around it.

If I get banned, I won't lose any sleep over it. This is the most I've posted here in 4 years anyway. Least I would be going out with something of a better impression than before.

You're the hero we deserve, not the one that we need right now.

Not a fan of the random Avatar human sound effects but really digging the score.

Spidey finally has a LEGIT theme and there are motifs that derive from that theme.

wtf is this hulk-like opening music?

This movie takes place in new york, not the desert.

However, after that it sounds like some jumanji, and I dig that score. So far I like it.

rooftop kiss is such a beautiful song.
