Senator Chambers Suing God

Nebraska Senator Ernie Chambers is seeking a permanent injunction against God to stop him from spreading destruction and terrorism.

In order to prove the futility and irrelevance of some other lawsuits, Senator Ernie Chambers will sue the Almighty himself. Chambers resents the system because he thinks that courtroom doors must be open to everyone.

He says he is trying to make a point that anybody can file a lawsuit against anybody, even God.

In the suit, Chambers asks for a "permanent injunction ordering Defendant to cease certain harmful activities and the making of terroristic threats." There is also a reference to the fact that God goes by different names, titles and designations, which indicates that he is omnipresent.

The Nebraska Senator says that he has tried to make contact with the Almightly on countless occasions, but has not been successful, reports Vecernji.hr.

God is also charged with different disasters that resulted in a great number of human casualties, destruction and terrorization of a million inhabitants of planet Earth.

The court is expected to set a date for a hearing as soon as possible and enter a permanent injunction to God in order to stop him from engaging in the aforementioned activities.

Guilty!:cmad:

Haha it sounded incredibly implausible until it mentioned Nebraska. Now I can see it happening. :o

I'm going to be the attorney and say that my client, who has the license to kill, was not responsible for the disasters that affect mankind. In this case, I'd like to cite 1 John 5:19, an excerpt from a document written by God's secretary, which states that "the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one". Therefore, we are putting the wrong supernatural being on trial. I rest my case.

"If it doesn't fit, you must acquit!"

I talked to Moses about this today. He thinks the judge will throw the case out.

Last year WWE promoted a match between Vince and Shane McMahon VS HBK and GOD. this is just anoth in a long line of sick jokes.

aaaaaaaalllllllllllllllrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiggggggghhhttttttttt

I want a link to confirm this as legit. This sounds too much like an article from the onion.

No its real my local news ran a thing on it. They even spoke to the guy. The reason the senator is sueing God is to prove that are law system needs to be redone. Because its set up so that you can sue anyone no matter how dumb it is, and he wants it fixed.

It's real. Saw it on ABC last nite.

A lot of people have said it before and I'll say it again:

Who the hell is running this country?

I mean, if senators are busy suing the creator of the freaking universe, how are we gonna maintain our country?

God's an ******* anyways, we can even repo his house.

Twenty bucks that when Fox Noise reports this, they don't even mention the reasoning behind it and simply view it as an "attack by secular progressives on the traditionalist worldview"
