I just had a scary thought----
It has just been announced that a film remake of the classic 1970's Saturday morning show Land of the Lost is in the works - http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire2005/index.php?id=30865
Even though this remake is starring Will Farrell and will thus most likely be a comedy, there are still plenty of opportunities for cool special effects.
What has me concerned is the prospect of updated lizardlike versions of the "Sleestak" monsters from the original show:
True, the original Sleestak don't look anything like The Lizard, and maybe the movie remake will try to stick to the weird creepiness of the original designs. But if the Lizard doesn't appear in SM3, I'm worried that the movie Sleestak might mess up future chances for other lizard-men to appear onscreen if they look to much like "traditional" lizard-men.
