First Class start their shoot in Sept 2010 for a June 2011 release while Snow White started in late July 2011 for a June 2012 release. So First Class's schedule was very extreme and lacked the polished it needed.

Here the CG looks damn polished which makes me think their pre-production was up to snuff.

no, your statement is ridiculous, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that crazy improv music stuff...I actually prefer the Twlight woman's look to CT's, I appreciate CT's beauty, no doubt, but the only movie I ever really fancied her in was Aeon Flux, and i think that was because of the dyed black hair, don't ask me why, don't know, how can you explain these things, just gut reaction attraction of the tv crush kind.
Anyway, i feel a bit like Han solo in star wars when he is about to shoot that intercom...haha, i don't usually bother talking about crap like this on the net, everbody fancies who they fancy, and that is it! it is not science! we are not robots of the same design! did captain obvious really need to swoop in with this info?!

What? Ummm no. I didn't say that at all. I think its going to be ridiculous if they hype her up as being the most beautiful woman in the film. Its a fact that Kirsten Stewart is not considered to be on the level of beauty they might try to portray her as. It was like in the Spider-man films when they'd mention how gorgeous Mary Jane was, when truthfully her comic counter part is but the actress playing would be considered somewhat average by most people. Thats when it will be ridiculous.
As far as people thinking she is prettier than Charlize Theron well...good for them I really couldn't care less, my personal opinion is much different though

everything that has a moody atmosphere and love in it is not twilight. I mean seriously ever since twilight came out people seem to think it started dark fantasy or however you call it. I see no resemblence to twilight at all. It looks more like LOTR than anything.

Big deal. They are obviously going on about CT because her face is perfectly symmetrical, so there is a 'science of beauty' there that they can bang on about and no-one can say 'that's ridiculous', it's so their magazine can't be seen to be 'ridiculous' by anyone, a safe opinion to have.
It's just like a bunch of jocks in a locker room, who are all scared to say they fancy the goth girl who wears the crazy make-up, for fear of mockery, but will go on about the symmetrical blonde cheerleader, as there is a brainwashed consensus that is what true beauty is.

This is partly why I feel the Twlight woman is more appealing to look at , she is not totally symmetrical, and has that goth-y type of look. Her face is just as beautiful, but more intersting with it. Like, if they were paintings, they were both painted using the same materials, but one of them looks like a painting you haven't seen before, and one does. Because that type of popular painting is generally held up as the highest form of physical 'beauty'.

What is ridiculous, is that the evil queen has been cast as an actress who is equally beautiful in her own way to SW, they should have gotten an actress who was at the stage where her prime was long past in the physical department. But, y'know, they want two equally beautiful faces on the posters to get the bums in seats.

Really wouldn't work considering even the teaser reveals that there are points in the film where the Queen is rejuvenated and at her peak. It's a lot easier to age and ugg up an actress (which is also seen).

oh right, ok, i don't see what Sentinal X is complaining about then, as there is a story conceit to explin why the queen is jealous of SW.
I have not seen any version of SW in many a year, so i forgot there was that aspect to the story.

Yeah, i of course remember all that stuff, i just didn't recall that they had an aspect in the story of the witch using magic to maintain her good looks, and would slip back into old age when it wore off.
I mean, i don't recall that well, if that was part of the original tale, or whether they made that up for this movie.

Yeah, i know, and i am rolling my eyes at that, as I always preffered the look of the twilight woman to CT, and believe in the maxim, 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder', i can see why folk would prefer CT, and i think it is short sighted not to be able to see why someone would prefer twilight face.
But, i guess all of these eye rollers are yanks, the brainwashing over there is a bit more intense i think. haha.

Beauty is in the eye in the beholder, but I think you're going to find more people are going to agree that Charlize is a step above Kristen in the beauty department. As has been mentioned Kristen isn't unattractive, but she sits more in the sort of 'girl next door' area whilst Charlize qualifies for the stunning category. The other film's Snow White looks far more 'fairer' than their evil queen in contrast.

Yep. Looking at both the promo images for Snow White, Collins simply looks the part more. And because she looks so youthful (but undeniably beautiful), there's leeway there for her to grow into the prophecy of one-upping Theron.

Didn't you just say beauty is in the eye of the beholder? The funny thing is I can understand if you think Kristen Stewart is more beautiful. That is your opinion and I respect that but you can't seem to get over mine....Secondly, I am hardly one to follow fashion magazine and tabloids. I do appreciate unconventional beauty but I wouldn't put Kristen Stewart into that category. She just looks average looking to me. She not ugly, not pretty...just an average looking gal

....im not complaining about anything. Its just my opinion that Charlize is far prettier that Kristen. I think physically she was miscast because Kristen is not anywhere near what I would think when someone says "fairest of them all" (which in previous versions, implied beauty). This is why to me it comes across as 'ridiculous'. Either way its really not that big of a deal, I have my opinion and you have yours.

I don't see anything from Stewart that couldn't have been applied to Collins.
