I must say, Charlize Theron is incredibly hot in this trailer, and much better looking than Kristen Stewart, who is more than ten years younger than her. That scene where Theron came out of the milky-white substance is just mind-blowingly sexy.

I am very intrigued by that trailer. I love how it has the archetypes of the fairy tale, but has been changed in unique ways. Some things about it give off a Guillermo Del Toro vibe.

Just saw the new trailer on Apple! Holy crap does it look cool! It looks like something Ridley Scott would make, and I mean this in a good way! All I can say is this: Tarsem Singh, let's see if you can outdo this!

Really? I love that part! I love how the scene intercuts as she's saying it and her facial expression is still bolted with conviction, like it's etched in stone.

I like that they got perfect cast of Charlize Theron as Queen and Chris Hemswoth as Huntsman but Stewart as Snow White is just not good enough, and the whole dark, gritty setting can take the original story in a totally different diection, so it may or may not turn out to be good.

I feel like Stewart is the only part that doesn't fit. I think the trailer is pretty cool.

Well, truthfully would they really have to? People who like her due to Twilight would know she was in it as soon as the news hit. It's a built in publicity machine with KStew. Hemsworth has Thor and Avengers buzz. And Charlize is all-around awesome majority of the time IMO. So that migth explin why they got way more service in the trailer that KStew.

I like how the titular character has no lines in the trailer. i don't want to be pessimistic, because i actually liked what i saw in the trailer, but I'm getting the vibe that they wanted to show us as little of stewart as possible, perhaps based on her performance?

All this Kristen Stewart hate has gotten beyond boring. Maybe it's because I haven't seen the Twilight films (nor do I intent to), but I've seen her in some other stuff such as Welcome to The Riley's, Into the Wild and she's not bad as people make her out to be. The only minor annoyance is that she's always biting her lip but other than that she's a decent actress. Now go see some of her other stuff and stop watching the crappy Twilight movies, people.

Trailer looks good, would definitely watch it.

The trailer has made me go 180 on this project. Still not a fan of Stewart or the whole princess in armor idea, but the rest looks fantastic. Theron looks to be a show stealer in this one, and the visuals actually look interesting.

Would have never said this a week ago, but in light of this recent footage and hearing more of Tarsem's direction with his flick, I think this has a better shot at being more of a financial and mainstream hit.

Seconded. Anyone can clearly see that Theron's Evil Queen is way hotter than Stewart's Snow White.

It's kind of a unique situation next year with two different interpretations of the same story, it'll be good to compare and discuss them.

Hollywood has done this in the past, such as Armageddon and Deep Impact (both about astroids crashing on Earth) released within a year of each other. Dante's Peak and Volcano are another example.
