If I remember correctly

One of the dwarves dies, leaving seven.

If that's the case,
they should've had an army of dwarves whose number is drastically cut down by the end to only seven. Or at least a few more than just 8, as that would've been more realistic having a few of them die instead of just one.

I don't see how that would be better...

Kristin Stewart prettier than Charlize Theron? Somebody was high when they cast this movie.

^i know tons if people dont seem to get it

this is not some high school beauty pageant lol

No, that's not the premise of the film.

What's the Queen's problem with Snow White then? In the fairy tale she was worried about SW's beauty surpassing her own.

From what I've read about the script, [blackout]the Queen can only maintain that beauty by draining it out of all the beauties in the land. This has caused most of the other women in the kingdom to scar/mutilate their own faces so that the Queen has no interest in them. The Queen's beauty won't last without "rejuvenation," making Snow White the FUTURE "fairest of them all" kind of by default.[/blackout]

Even in the trailer, the mirror tells the Queen that she is still the fairest, but that Snow White is destined to surpass her at some point.

Well, that would shut up the jokesters *****ing about how Stewart can be the fairest.

We have a big cardboard standee of the movie up at the theater now, complete with the cast and crew listing. Interesting to see that John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side) is one of the credited writers alongside Evan Daugherty and Hossein Amini.

Can't wait! Love the new shots and the little bit with the dwarves!

Also....,

All those black shards of glass flying at Hemsworth. The Mirror Man?

This movie is looking pretty promising while it looks like Mirror Mirror is about to get dumped. Have barely heard anything from that in awhile.

^mirror mirror comes out in 2 weeks and i haven't even seen a tv spot lol

Exactly, when the movie bombs the studios will just spin it as bad scheduling even though they moved it to that date. Also that Wrath of Titans or Hunger Games took away its audience.

I've seen TV spots for Mirror, Mirror. They are targeting the family audiences. I think the studio is very aware that they lost the Twilight / Hunger Games audience to this movie. So now they're selling it as a kids movie.

i really love the look of this film it has such a del toro vibe if he were to do a snow white film

Trailer preview looks pretty much :awesome::up:

i cant see how this movie cant make like 400-500 million WW

you got charlize theron as the bad ass queen
twilight's Kristen Stewart as the heroine
Thor's Hemsworth as the male lead
bad ass creatures and action scenes
jaw dropping visuals

and i can see this appealing to men and woman

"My Queen... There is another destined to surpass you."

I love how his voice sounds! This movie's looking fantastic so far. I'm actually excited for it, just hope that they haven't changed anything from the script.
