We...Already did.
I feel like I'm the only one frustrated with MCU Spider-Man. Tom Holland is perfectly cast, and the MCU provided a perfect opportunity to give us a 1:1 adaptation of the source material. But instead, we're getting pointless deviations from the comics in an effort to modernize the story and provide something fresh after the 5 Spider-Man movies that preceded Civil War/Spider-Man: Homecoming. I just feel like “if it ain’t broke...”
Zendaya as MJ is Spider-Man’s John “Robin” Blake. It’s a slap in the face.

Yeah, his life is too good for a Peter Parker. The weight of his Spidey life hardly makes his Peter life more difficult. The Vulture reveal was about the only thing they tried. There are issues with the MCU's approach to Spidey that I don't think enough people are willing to acknowledge because generally other places on the internet/YouTube/Instagram I see people just fawning over Tom's looks, or obsessing because it's part of the MCU and has to be the most accurate thing ever by default.I think I love the fact that Peter doesn't feel like a loner or an outcast like he did in all previous five movies. He has friends, he has a life outside Spider-Man, the world around him feels much more rich and lively.
The only Pop I wanted to see was Mysterio, the rest can take a hike lol.

I’m not so sure we can measure how much the GA love them. Box office performance has nothing to do with his supporting cast. The importance of the cast in the success of these movies has to do with the hero and villain, and little else.I'm just glad Marvel stuck to their guns and didn't change Peter's supporting cast like some were hoping. The GA love them, marvel couldn't care less if fans don't want them.

I actually like the actors playing “MJ” and Flash, but I think they both should’ve remained closer to the comics. They really are Flash and MJ in name only, unfortunately. Also whose idea was it to make Betty look exactly like Gwen stacy? I just don’t understand the logic behind these alterations.
I do genuinely like Ganke/Ned. I think he’s a nice addition.
I will go further, the character may have initiated in a comic book but his cinematic presentation, not the fifth artist and writer team take on them is what the general audience wants to see should they pick up another medium. In other words Marvel is now a movie studio that produces comic booksI get what you guys are saying, but as far as these characters are likeable the GA won't care they don't look like their comic book counterparts.
Did I miss anything about Michael Keaton and this movie? He's not listed on IMDb anymore.
