they should have it so we can see Spider-Mans mouth and jaw moving like in the cartoon show/comics

i didnt like in the Rami movies how the head was a helmet and you couldn't see his mouth move just just to add all the dialogue in post


costume still looks dumb but maybe it will look better in the new movie

Speaking to Comic Riffs on Wednesday, Lee recalls the logic behind his mythology:

"The one thing I liked about Peter's web-shooters was the fact that they made him more vulnerable," Lee says. "At any crucial moment he could run out of web fluid and be forced to rely on his wits."

Not that Lee, who now heads up POW! Entertainment, had any issues with Raimi's physical decision:

"The organic webs which Sam Raimi gave him -- and which Jim Cameron also would have given him had he directed the first Spidey film -- certainly worked beautifully in the movie, and perhaps allowed for better special effects than my idea of limited webbing might have done."

Concludes Lee: "Actually, I'm happy with either interpretation."

Jose Fernandez, the head of Ironhead studios, revealed that they have completed work on the new Spider-Man movie. Ironhead Studios is an effects firm specializing in costume and creature design.

What about IronHead Studios future projects? Is there another upcoming superheroes movie?

As a matter of fact we are currently working the Avengers and we just finished working on the new Spider-Man. There are a few others that I can't mention just yet.

I think he meant that whatever makes him able to crawl walls can go through the gloves. Not that the gloves are what make him crawl walls.

Meh they're changing too much. Fans of the films don't like these changes, especially the cosmetic ones. I don't care about the mechanical webshooters but like I said before them being on top of the suit looks so godafwul ugly.

Overall, I think SPidey will have the ability to stick the walls instead of having the suit make him stick, like some are saying. However, I am a bit worried that I'm wrong.

I haven't seen anything to suggest that the suit has anything to do with his powers, that all started from people speculating about what we now know are webshooters on the wrists and the superfluous silver bits on the shoes.

As said, that's presumably to allow for him to stick to walls even though he has gloves on. Eg; if it's the same as the first film, they'd allow the hairs through.

not only is that not really what he said, but it's also speculation from some random on the internet (even if it's a cool random like Majik), so relax. his powers are not going to come from his suit. i wish i could find the guy that started this stupid rumor and kick him in the shins.

Okay, saw the zoomed pics, with the tiny little bumps on the finger tips. Personally, if I had to guess, I'd say they're sensors for the webshooters. When he made the webshooters in the comics, Spidey had said that the trigger could differentiate between him pressing it on purpose, to fire webs, and by accident, say by making a fist or grabbing something. If he had sensors on the fingertips of the gloves, that would ensure that he only fired a web when he meant to.

Of course, that doesn't necessarily explain why there's one on the thumb, and on every finger when he usually only uses the middle two, but that's no reason to assume that he has some mechanical method for wall-crawling. The other theory, that the gloves are made to allow him to use his powers without getting in the way, is just as valid at this point.

I don't think the things on his fingertips are sensors for the webshooters. In the comics, the webshooters were made so he had to press the buttons twice in a row in order to shoot webs, and that's what prevented it from going off accidentally when making a fist.
