I thought those pads on his palms were for when he presses on them and his webs shoot out?

Me too, but then I saw the picture of the actual webshooter. The switch is still located in the centre of the palm... and besides, he has those pads in 3 areas of his palm.

Any slightest change would make the anti-reboot people go mad.

Am I the only one who dislikes the blue fingers on the gloves?

Hahaha I find it funny that almost all of us here on these boards look like going on autopilot.

It's like we only look at the poster's name, search in our memory files if this specific person is pro or anti reboot, and then agree to the post without reading what it says.

I know this isn't the case, but it's funny how there really are two clearly visible camps, with members who agree with the same people all the time no matter what it is about and go all "well said " to the same people like it's a predetermined behavior.

There is no "camp".

I'm excited and very much looking forward to the movie. I've said repteadely throughout this entire production that I've loved the casting, story, and choice of villain etc.

My only gripes have been with the suit and to a degree with the director's experience (or lack there of). For some reason to you that automatically means that we're "anti-reboot". That's what is really funny.

If the person doesn't 100% love it that automatically means they hate it apparently.

It was not specifically aimed at you, but people here in general. And I still think this kind of pattern is clear (that the same people agree to everything certain others say in a very predictable way).

*looks at your name*

I completely disagree. If I'm in camp a, I will agree with like minded people and vehemently disagree with people in camp b. It's like we are all on autopilot or something, we don't need to think about what is being said, so long as we know who is saying it.

Agreed. I'm anticipating The Amazing Spider-Man with cautious optimism. I know I come off as hyper-critical, but that's because I love this character, and I expect quality from this franchise.

This is what I meant.

EDIT: ...about the mentality here overall

Exactly. Cautious optimism is the best to describe how many of us skeptical fans are such as Chaseter, me, Craigdbfan, Doctor Jones, etc. I don't see why that is a bad thing.

Lol, I was being sarcastic. I was disagreeing with you based on who you were, only to voice exactly what you said.

I'm glad you're at least cautiously optimistic :P
