The Amazing Spider-Man Spider-Man Reboot Costume Part 4 - "What's that in his eye??" - Part 5

The colors look brighter than shown in Raimi's films as well...

they changed a lot from this pic.

After watching the first film, with comparison to the new costume. I like the gloves on the new costume a lot. The new costume overall just has much more movement that I think will work out once we get a lot of movement happening even when standing still.

Now with that undoctored promo......well its a photo intended to be a still image to give out for promotion. A good photographer gets it mostly right to begin with. We have seen very few studio pics. The colors of the old suit out in the open were not the photoshoot colors. Its not a bad thing but just remember the difference.

Amongst everything else, I really love the colours of the new suit. Really rich, I hope they don't mute them in a sequel.

Here's hoping Spidey upgrades his suit to something more "classic" in a sequel.

Armpit webs including.

The armpits webs would look incredibly stupid in Live action.

No armpit webs.

xD

And I want to see them stick with this suit. I'm pretty sure most, if not all complaints about the suit will be gone once this movie is released and has blown people away.

I doubt it. This isn't Batman, and it isn't Nolan's film so people are probably going to keep complaining no matter what.

Doesn't have to be Batman or a Nolan movie.

Nolan is not a god.

And regardless of whether or not the complains stop, which as it is, are in a small minority, it's really only on the internet, I want to see them stick with this design and show that they have faith in it.

Not to mention... it doesn't make sense, why would he redesign his suit?

Haha, I suppose his status is more a like a cult leader.

More like overrated.

That works as well...but anyways, I have always liked the suit ever since the first released pic. I actually don't really mind the shoes, or the cleats under the shoes, or the gloves and the fact that texture looks like a basketball. But what I do mind is when people claim the suit is an actual basketball!! Can't people tell that it's just some type of stretchy fabric with some kind of honey-combed shaped plastic/latex printed over?? All you need to do is find a hi-res image and zoom in on the costume!

Yep.

It's amazing how tough/rigid the material looks because of this though. (when not zoomed in... lol)

Well, many people kept complaining about the TDK bat-suit. And it was a Nolan film and all.

I agree, but to really nail it in the sequel for me they shoul get rid of the red line running down the side of his legs. It has always worked on the arms, legs not so much. Other than that its pretty much perfect.

Yes, alot of complaints will go away, but the legitimacy behind their complaints will still exist even if they choose to ignore them.

It's a legitimate complaint to someone but a whiny nitpick to somebody else.

The suit shouldn't be "updated" amongst the sequels, imo. The suit looks fine as it is and fits with the atmosphere Webb is going for, so why try to make it look like the comic book counterpart? There's no reason, imo. Raimi never tried to change his suit.

Nolan is not a god.

Hold your tongue, blasphemer.

More like overrated.

Forgive them, Nolan. For they do not know.
