Looks kinda goofyIn the original Spider-Man teaser, they used a costume with big eyes on it.
Needless to say, it looked goofy as hell.

Nope, not me anywayDo you think they were going with macfarlane styled eyes there?

I agree, though I don't like McFarlane's eyes even on paperAnd the ironic thing is, those still aren't as big as the McFarlane eyes are in the comics. Honestly though, that look just wouldn't work in real life. I love it in the comics, but it's one of those things that doesn't translate too well.
Good pointAnother bad thing about the version of the big lenses (that was scrapped, thankfully) is that the black framing isn't thick enough, making it just look weirder

I wouldn't love it, looks badI would have loved to see that, but I'm satisfied with what we have.
I like the poses, not the remake of the costume, same goes for the webbingI've always like what mcfarlane did to spidey. He gave him big eyes to bring out more of the "bug" in him and put spidey in weird poses to bring out the "spider"
I think its a smart idea. When he's spidey, let him actually be SPIDER- man.
When he's pete, let him be the character we all know.

I disagree. Maybe not exactly as big as the Ultimate or McFarlane eyes, but something long those lines would work.

I really either want to see the sinister style eyes or the Ultimate style (or something very close to them) in a sequel... or the next reboot.
A manip I did a while back, I agree that they are a little big (but hey, they're Ultimate lenses) which gives the mask a little cartoony look... but I think something along the lines of this (definitely a little smaller) would be cool to see and would work.
