They're edited red for promo stills... which is stupid, tbh.
kind of implies that they don't think silver will be welcomed.
They're making a bigger deal out of it than it should be, tbh.
It shouldn't have been there to start with.
And 2, I bet that we won't see Spidey's feet in any clear shots for any longer than about 25 seconds of total screen time. If someone thinks that's worth getting their knickers in a knot over, then they're a chump too.
I don't care either way, tbh. It's just the fact that it's such a minor detail on the entire suit that people are getting their knickers in a bunch over that truly shocks me.
Then again, I am on the internet...
To be honest I find it a lot stranger that they're airbrushing it red for promo images. What the hell is up with that?

Is out of the context of the movie. It may startle people seeing Spider-Man by himself with "silver slippers".![]()
2 things...
One, that poll up the top is ridiculous... Who ever made that is a chump.

It's okay, you're not a chump though![]()

It was a gag response to those who were truly saying Spidey's costume shouldn't look 'good' because he's a poor teenager
Red or silver lining on his shoe or not, it's a cool shot. To quote Red from the Shawshank Redemption:
"The guard simply didn't notice. Neither did I... I mean, seriously, how often do you really look at a man's shoes?"![]()
