The Amazing Spider-Man Spider-Man Reboot Costume Part 4 - "What's that in his eye??" - Part 6

The part of Webb's suit that doesn't look professional is how he doesn't get the webs right. But a realistic suit that could be plausible to be made by a student woiuld have had the webs done with a magic marker. The suit looks unprofessional just because its design looks uninspired, not because it looks plausible.

On the other hand he can't know how much web is he going to use.
you dont think hed have some type of gauge built into it?

Thats pretty damn amazing... where do people find the time?!

Wow, that's a nice replication! Must have taken hours or days! :O

He's charging $350 for the masks if anyone is interested.

Not liking the costume is one thing, but in no way is the costume uninspired! It wouldn't fit the original styled spidey for sure, but the way this new spider-man moves and the world this new spider-man is in makes the new costume fit perfectly

And of course the suit doesn't actually look like a teenager made it, it looks like a teenager designed it.

Well, I guess we can all finally stop saying the costume couldn't be made by a high school student or that it looks too professional to be made by a student.
This guy did it with almost no budget.
A genius high-schooler could do this, plus the rest of the costume.
Case closed.

Good point.

I'm sure a spider-suit with webs that actually looked like webs would fit too. And red soles instead of silver wouldn't hurt the perfect fitting either.

I was going to say a little child, but teenager can be close enough. But then again some teenagers could have made a spider on the back in such way the didn't have to make an ugly indentation in the red zone to make space for it. Or maybe could have used a red spray over the soles.

I'm all for realism except when things look bad.

But I'll give you that at least in the trailer the suit's colors and texture looked great. And yes, he did move good. But that doesn't have to do with the suit.

Ok, you have some good points, but as I and many don't find those things ugly at all, it can be said that those things are just a matter of opinion

Found this on deviantart.

If he made the fingers all red, this suit would be literally 100% perfect. It fits Mark's vision and is practically the classic suit. (aside from the webs.) The eyes look like dyed sunglass lenses (like Marc Webb was going for.) and you can still see the shoes, but they aren't obnoxiously silver like the real suit has. The belt also looks great. Grrr. Now I want this.

The webbing and the belt addition is nice.

Everything else is just fine the way it is, imo.

I think the suit looks fine as is. If Peter made little upgrades that paved the way for the suit to ultimately (no pun intended) look like the traditional suit, I'd be fine with that too.
