I was worse. I had a Spider-Man and Superman costume and used used to put on the Superman suit with the Spidey gloves and mask and toy webshooters.

The more and more I watch the trailer, the more and more I love the costume with less and less complaints.

I really have no complaints over the shoes and lack-of belt now...the suit just looks perfect even with what some call flaws.

Well, and that's mostly from Leary's line as him being someone in a unitard, so it adds some clarification of WHY the suit doesn't have a full-on belt; that's perhaps the main look the designers were going for. As long as it has some reasoning in it, I'll be fine. Hell, I became absolutely fine with TDK's costume once I read the comparisons of Nolan's Batman to an actual knight.

His boots are red but there are silver/white bits along the sole of the boot which is made from a sneaker.

Don't we all. Between the cartoon and the live-action with Patrick Warburton, the Tick was at its prime still, but both were sadly cancelled.

That's one reason why I've tried my best to follow the career of Ben Edlund, the creator. His time on Angel and then in Supernatural, which happens to be my favorite show
