Eh, I'm not much of a breast man, to be honest. And I'll just stop right there in case Ms. Page is reading.

If she's reading, I'd like to say I'd do the same things to her I'd do to any other girl.

yeah disagree big time Gianakin Knightly is extremely talented and by far the most underrated atcress in her age range

Keira easily out acted carey mulligan in never let me go and you people here foam at the mouth of her talents

Me likes me some Ellen Page

I'll assume you mean in the movie. :o

If Nolan accepts the job, it will happen, along with Tom Hardy in an important role.

I think the Inception training scenes show how Page could act alongside Hamill. I wish they had done more with her character (and JGL's) in Inception.

I also agree with those arguing that Keira Knightley has talent. I'm a much bigger fan of Andrew Garfield and Carey Mulligan in general, but even I have to admit Knightley was the best part of Never Let Me Go. And I think her performance in Pride & Prejudice is kind of underrated just because she fits so naturally into those kinds of movies. She made it look effortless, but Elizabeth Bennett is not an easy role to play at all. And while she wasn't my favorite version of the character (that would be Jennifer Ehle), I do think she was a very good one.

But keira Knightley was already in the Star Wars movies, duhh!

lol

Based on the Pirates movies, Keira and Natalie should have switched parts.

I think he meant that Keira was actually in a Star Wars film as the handmaiden!

Yeah, Keira is very good. Have you seen A Dangerous Method? I'll tell ya, to not only hold your own with Fassbender and Viggo but to actually give the standout performance in a movie with the two of them is no easy task.

That said, I still think Never Let Me Go is one of the most pretentious, ridiculous movies I've ever seen. Not because of the actors... I just thought the whole concept was absurd and scenes that attempted to be sad and emotional actually had me laughing.
It was basically The Island if you swapped out chase scenes for sad looks between the main characters.

The queen was far from feisty; more like flat. Leia was the feisty one!!!

My official vote:

Dave Filoni

Knows the lore nearly as if he lived it, loves Star Wars, seems to have a strong grasp of good character writing and visualization.

I haven't seen A Dangerous Method yet, but it's my Netflix queue. As for NLMG, you're right about the premise. Ironically, the book it was based on and [blackout]The Island[/blackout] were released the exact same year. But I still found the movie to be a very moving experience. Yes, that's another way of saying I was a blubbering puddle of tears by the end of it, lol. I may have cried at the end of [blackout]The Island[/blackout] too, but that would have been due to the massive headache it had induced. :cwink:

Hiring of Kinberg as writer/producer suggests Vaughn or Blomkamp as director--I hope Blomkamp.

I want Andrew Stanton as Director. The tone in John Carter is perfect for Star Wars.

That's why I never watched Never Let Me Go. I only saw the trailer once and was incredibly turned off from watching the movie.
