How is Abrams being disloyal to Star Trek by directing Star Wars? He has directed two Star Trek films, despite not being a fan of the series, I don't begrudge him not coming back for a 3rd.

im a big fan of trek but I dont think hes being disloyal at all and would never get upset for doing something else that he wants to do. As far as im concerned he saved trek. Trek was in a death period till he showed up, so I forever appreciate that. Plus as a fan of both Trek and Star Wars I can say that my excitement for into darkness and episode VII is extremely high.

Also, we're at that stage where people who grew up with those franchises are now the ones behind the camera, so there's a lot of love for these series.
