State Your Opinion on a Character - Part 1

Basically, Girls is just completely awesome. A really clever, well-done horror comic.

Check this out:

"After a young man named Ethan Daniels is thrown out of the bar in the town of Pennystown, he meets a mysterious naked and injured woman out on the street. He takes her to his home, and after he tries unsuccessfully to get information from her, they have intercourse. He leaves her in his house the next day to report the situation to the local police officer, but they return to find she has laid eggs that hatch into full-grown identical copies of her. The girls attack any other females they come across, forcing the townspeople to hide in a local farmhouse. The situation is complicated by a giant sperm-like monster in a cornfield and the discovery of an enormous reflective dome separating Pennystown from outside aid."

Yep.

I'd absolutely LOVE this to get a tv series... it'll never happen though. It's far too ****ed up. :hehe:

Ethan is one of the smartest protagonists :oldrazz:

This description got me thinking of Species. I think I'll try to hunt that movie and watch it, then read Girls and compare notes

:lmao:
Alright, this is probably a big difference to note

I suppose it's a little like Species but much smarter.
The story I'd compare it most to is The Walking Dead, in that it's not so much about the other worldly threat as it is about how people would react to/live with something like that.

Oh man, Girls was awesome.

I still need to get caught up on Sword.

Also, the Luna Bros first mini, Ultra is pretty awesome. Almost got made into a tv show.

Can't find the series :(
Just like xXx, porn is found, but not the needed thing

This one really stung. :(

From all I'd heard about this book before I tried it, it sounded like pretty much the most awesome comic book of all time.

This book is so boring. Just interminably dull. An unpopular opinion, but there it is...

I Like"GIRLS" ALOT! I mean Alot!!.. but the comic book i never read so i gots no opinion!
ASTRO CITY IS THE ^%$!! I FREAKING LOVED THAT BOOK!

What's that?! You dislike a comic I love? Oh that is it! You're off my "people I won't punch when I take over world" list.:cmad:

Haha! But I wanted to like it! Surely, that only warrants a light face slapping?

BTW, you missed your namesake, man!

What did you read? Cuz it's like, multiple volumes that focus on different stories. I really liked Tarnished Angel and the one about the Confessor.

Oh and still haven't read Lock and Key.

Oh and still haven't read Lock and Key.

It was a while ago but I started at volume one, the one with their take on Superman and instead of the lovingly observed, insightful look at the idea of the character I was expecting, it just seemed sort of standard. Capes by numbers.

I think I tried a story with that cool looking Clown character too. Again though... Sort of dull.

I might try again. This wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong about a book.

Oh yeah! Locke and key! Been meaning to get around to reading it for a long time. Theres a bunch of stuff I've got to get through first though.

(I still have to finish Starman!)

Crap I did miss that E-Man one. Me are be the sorry.:csad:

I would like to say that the E-Man posted previously is a fraud! Fraud to my E-Man throne! He's going down because he's not pretty like me! The Hyphenweight champion of the world should be pretty like me! I'm a bad man!

*didn't read the E-Man comics but does Ali Shuffle anyway*

You might be right, I should give Valiant a try some day.

Anyway, today's:

E-Man

In regards to E-Man, he's a cool Hypster. :oldrazz:, never heard or read anything on the other character.

Where's E-Man when you need him to talk about E-Man?

Nothing to say about that little depressed punk

Family circus is enjoyable in the very small doses I took of it

This can only be blamed on The Man! It's a conspiracy I tell ya.

That's enough of books, back to characters:

Bart Simpson didn't like them. That's for certain.
