Barnabus Collins

I've never read the comic and I don't think the show ever aired here, so my only experience of Mister Collins is going to the Burton movie last year.

Quite possibly the worst film I've ever seen in a theatre. Certainly one of them.

I've only seen a few episodes of Dark Shadows & it had a eerie, sinister, feel to them, but it they were also slow in a sense. Barnabas Collins is a vampire & evil, but as I said the episodes moved rather slow & I got bored of them. LOL. Also, I concur with Dodds, in the movie being a disaster.

He's not bad, might be interesting to see more of his story
But dangnit, making love with the witch who made him a vampire made me miss Chris Rock in Head of State when he called security for the nasty lady who left him then tried to win him back when he was campaigning for President

First third of the movie is alright, second is ok, third is yeah yeah
Overall a forgettable film, far below superb, but easily better than bad

EH! even that was abit before my time. i kinda sorta remember it on Tv but not enough and I HATE VAMPIRES!! hahaha! Blade should stake em all!:cwink:
( oh and yeah that movie with Johnny Depp look horrible so i totally passed on it!)

He was awesome on those Clone Wars Micro episodes.

Hell, everybody was awesome on those. Then sucked horribly in the movies.....go figure.

So, you know, he cool. Depending on where he shows up.

Hell yeah !!! I prefer the animated Clone Wars micro series than the crappy CGI series.

Especially General Grievous.

I was soooo let down when he showed up in Revenge of the Sith.

No love for this Collins chap, lol
When are we going to see a character most of us on this thread hate?

Uh.. I don't know about the comic(again) but if we are talking about Steve Austin! The 6 million dollar man!! then that guy is the Man!!!! Never in the annuals of television has there been a greater freakin show! That ^& is classic and steve is up there as one of the greatest characters of all time!!

Yeah, it's Kevin Smith's adaptation of the screenplay he wrote for the movie they were planning in the 90s.
Smith doesn't write it anymore but I believe it's still going. Dynamite does it.

I concur with BV on his opinion. The Six Million Dollar Man aka Steve Austin is/was badass back in the day. I enjoyed all the episodes & bought them as soon as they became available when Time Life announced them. :woot:

It's funny, a six million dollar man these days would probably be the economy model. :o

Gotta change it to the Six Billion dollar man. :awesome:

Also, meh.

Yeah, he's the Six Meh-llion Dollar Man to me aswell.

Heh. See what I did there? :woot:

I see what you did there. I saw it, and said, I totally see what he did there. :awesome:

 and knowing that is half the Battle! YO JOE!!!!

I been meaning to read that. The concept is pretty sweet.

Been dipping my toe into this new Valiant stuff. So far the best of them I've read was Bloodshot.

Archer and Armstrong are the ****. I have been catching up to their new series and loving it. It's basically the new Quantum and Woody for me. I thought I'd like Archer a bit more, but I can't help but love the fat immortal a little more.

I haven't tried it yet.

The idea sounds good and the art's nice, so I might give it a go. :)

It's a fun buddy cop type comic with a bit of worldwide conspiracy mixed it. I've dug it a lot so far.

Bionic Man kinda looks like a Metallo version of Doc Savage
Archer & Armstrong looks fun

An inapropriately large image, I know... but I became vaguely obsessed with finding this particular image and it seems this was the only size Google had it in.
