Sci-Fi Stranger Things (Netflix) - Part 1

“We’ve always dreamed of an animated ‘Stranger Things’ in the vein of the Saturday morning cartoons that we grew up loving
An ‘80s TV cartoon look?

stranger writers: “Duffers here. Writing does not stop when filming begins. While we’re excited to start production with our amazing cast and crew, it is not possible during this strike. We hope a fair deal is reached soon so we can all get back to work. Until then -- over and out. #wgastrong”

By the time this comes back, I won't remember what the heck happened. :(

All I remember from that movie is uncanney valley giant Oprah. :funny:

Didn't the Duffer brothers say that they weren't going to be introducing new characters in season 5?

Going to take that with a grain of salt for now.

I pretty much took that to mean no more major characters like Max, Robin or Eddie will be introduced. There'll probably be at least one new minor character played by a veteran actor from '80s movies like in the previous seasons (Cary Elwes, Robert Englund, etc.). Linda Hamilton would fit that tradition.

That's how I interpreted it too. No time for a new core character at this stage and the main priority will be to start resolving the plots for everyone. But that doesn't mean no new characters to help the season flow and make it different to prior seasons.
