Yeah, it's an interesting strategy. I was initially annoyed that they're not releasing these episodes at the usual time (about 11am my time) but instead in the middle of the night at 3am, but thinking further about it, I really don't mind waking up to a batch of brand-new Stranger Things episodes on the 26th instead of trying somehow to fit them into Christmas Day.Releasing the second part on Christmas seems like a bad idea. That's a lot of traffic you're trying to cultivate on the same day at the same time between that and the 2 NFL games earlier in the day. Unless they're banking on people holding off on ST until later in the evening.
Christmas Eve feels like it would've made more sense considering the other two also drop the day before the actual holiday.
I'm about to embark on my first full rewatch of the show. The thing I love the most about it, it's the atmosphere. That very specific 80's vibe is so comforting in a weird way.

Using a pencil to fix the tape from a cassette or purchasing a special cleaning kit to salvage a CD.I think thats honestly what made that first season such a hit. It tapped into that nostalgic innocent feeling millennials and Gen X'ers had of being a kid and hanging out with your friends and going on adventures.
Gen Z'ers'll never know what its like.![]()

Yeah, really that's it. It taps into a very specific time, right on the cusp of late 80's pop culture and pre-internet early 90's. Such a wonderful time.I think thats honestly what made that first season such a hit. It tapped into that nostalgic innocent feeling millennials and Gen X'ers had of being a kid and hanging out with your friends and going on adventures.

Or Netflix doesn't know how to produce shows. But yes.So basically 10 years of production for 42 episodes.
Streaming has broken TV.
I know and it was a chore to get through some of it.To be fair, is not your typical Scrubs episode. Specially that last season, each episode was like a small movie.
Are we getting the "we're graduating and we may never see each other again" trope in 80's teen movies?
