Sci-Fi Stranger Things (Netflix) - Part 1

Wish I could say that the trailer did anything for me, but it's really not tapping into it for me. Still gonna watch, and hoping for the best. Just feels so up its own ass and self indulgent.

funny I had NO idea who Maya was before she was in Stranger Things and I was man she looks a LOT like Uma and I looked up her name and realized she is her daughter and I had a face palm moment cause of her last name is the same as her dad's lol.

Maya Hawke is in that same camp as Jack Quaid and Zoe Kravitz where it's basically "Yeah, you're a nepobaby but I'm willing to look the other way about it because you're actually good at what you do."
Not sure about Zoe, but Jack and Maya are also willing to acknowledge their advantage. Like their talent makes them less insecure.

Oh look, a poster with way too many characters.
*Craft services team walks on set*

The Duffers: Hey, you guys want to be on the poster? There's plenty of room!

But seriously, looking at that poster really drives home how many characters have survived for this long. Like, how the hell did Murray make it through season 4?

It's why I have so much disdain the one season wonders. There to die to shield the rest of the cast.

Eddie was the only one of them I liked enough to be upset about. The others I just felt sorry for but in a "Well that sucks" kinda way. It was getting stale by season 3, but at least Billy was a two season wonder.

Almost done with my rewatch of the first season. I'll always love this show but I do miss the simplicity of those first couple of seasons. Before we were getting two minute long Target ads starring Mike and Nancy's dad. :o

Guess we can put away the pitchforks and stop trusting “news” sources like the Daily Mail.
I knew something wasn't adding up. Like, we know that Harbour clearly has his own personal stuff that he's going through but you'd have to be totally insane to harass your co-star who's not only less than half your age, but also is practically a golden child for Netflix.
