Didn't they already make the necessary moves and promote those who would have a better grasp on the direction of these films? They've shown they're listening from that aspect. If they continue to listen, then the feedback to the BvS Ultimate Cut and the hoopla surrounding SSQUAD's deleted scenes will cause them to re-evaluate how they handle their meddling. We'll see if they continued to listen once Wonder Wonder release's in June.

Yep.We will see if Johns and Berg's involvement paid off starting from Wonder Woman.

There's still the off chance that they are still working with Snyder's partial script regardless of Johns involvement.

In WW?Oh Snyder has story credit there,as I'm guessing WW ties in with JL and BvS as well so Snyder was obviously involved.

Geoff Johns was also involved and its the same with JL.Johns,Snyder and Terrio are all involved.

Yeah I'm more worried about that than anything for WW.

Worried about Snyder's involvement?

I'm not.But thats a matter of taste, and thats fine.I loved MOS and BvS.I didnt like SS to that degree(possibly due to the studio meddling).I didnt like the fact BvS was cut down 30minutes in the theatre either as I liked the UC much more.So Johns/Berg involvement for me I hope brings the change that studios dont interfere as much.Geoff Johns(being the encylopedia of DC comics) being closely involved with the scripting process can only be a positive for me,as he knows what makes the characters tick at a intrinsic level, and is a great writer.

I think Johns and Affeck's involvement will lean more towards penned-in character moments and direction of certain scenes to make sure everything lines up properly as far as getting the right character beats down and reeling in Snyder if he ever gets that urge to veer off and give an out of nowhere action scene for the "coolness" of it so to speak.

I'm not necessarily worried about the script since there are some things in BvS that was intriguing. There were just too many cooks in the kitchen once Terrio came in to clean things up. Hopefully now that Terrio is fully onboard, they can smooth the story out and not have to worry about re-writing Goyers script or what-not. I expect the script to be fast paced without feeling that EXTRA need to set things up.

Givin' what happened with BvS, everyone should be better for it. Justice League needs to feature good pacing and linear storytelling. Getting the characters pitch-perfect will tie it all together into more of a successful finished product. Just butt-out of it WB when you need to!

Here was my initial prediction for SSQUAD before its release:

OW: $125 mil
Domestic: $220 mil
Foreign: $380 mil
-----
WW: $600 mil

It exceeded my OW number and crushed my domestic estimation, which is a nice surprise. Foreign seems to be on track. My final WW prediction will be $640 mil WW.

If the movie's going to stay in theaters throughout September and October, it will add a bit more money. $640M WW sounds about right.

Thor TDW and MoS number are real good for this movie, imo. :)

it wouldve broke 700 if it got a China release

SS overseas number increased by $3 million. The initial estimates had it at $310m on Sunday.

Domestic: $262,283,335 45.6%
+ Foreign: $313,000,000 54.4%
= Worldwide: $575,283,335

BO MOJO has the actual numbers in for the domestic weekend; slightly higher than the estimates at $20,855,401 for the weekend.

Wow,$313M?Thats more than what I expected.I wouldnt be surprised if it does around $360-375M internationally now.

It could be really close to 700m like MOS although for this movie its more impressive since it was without China

only needs 75 million more world wide from here on out from foreign/domestic combined to hit 650 which is very doable

and it hasn't even opened up in japan yet
