Long before the actuality of it's existence I felt the title for a Squad film should be: TASK FOR X, AKA THE SUICIDE SQUAD.

Yeah, a bit of a mouthful, but I can't help giggling at the though of people going in and expecting a FOX X-Men film and getting the villains of the Squad instead.

I remember seeing comments on DC's facebook posts that were advertising Assult on Arkham without using the name Suicide Squad but instead they were referring to them as Task Force X. There were some comments made by people that probably haven't heard of the Suicide Squad before saying that they were ripping off X-Force.

Exactly. There's no reason to think this will change. I guess people just like to be overly pessimistic.

Come on, come on. We all know one of two things will happen.

Either the studio will get nervous about the potentially controversial title and the film will be renamed The Team or Crooks.

OR they'll realized that the title is TOO vague and may not completely convey to people that this film is helping to set up the larger DC Cinematic Universe. In that case, expect a title change to: Suicide Squad: Dawn of Injustice: Enemies of the Justice League: The Joker Rises.

If the title is going to be changed, then I would rather they change it to what you had in the Asylum thread.

Sucks that Hardy is out, but Jake is a fine replacement. It would have been worse if Leto decided to leave.
