i will say the JL trailer sucked though, the WW trailer put it to shame

I never believed the UC made BvS a decent film. Adding extra footage to a crap movie doesn't make the crap movie good.

I hope so too. But given the DCEU's track record so far of "go dark or go home," it makes me wonder if some exec at WB was watching the scene in SAW where Cary Elwes hacks his own leg off and thought, "THIS GUY SHOULD DIRECT AN AQUAMAN MOVIE!"

Not only that, WW was the one part of BvS that everyone seems to have liked, or at least found decent

I agree JL has a big hurdle to overcome, and I'm not sure the corny humor that WB is forcing into Snyder's increasingly drab color palate works. But whatever, I'm just along for the ride

I agree. I think WW will retain it's hype and if WB somehow stumbles into a good film it will be a big hit.

Hopefully more Insidious and Conjuring 2 and hell, Death Sentence. Dreamlike with some nightmare elements thrown in. Very David Lynch as well in a way. Man, I'm excited. Make me feel like I'm entering a whole other world.

#SuicideSquad would have been so much better if they had just kept The Joker as the center stage villain. Just watch Assault On Arkham.

You could even have the Joker trying to pull Enchantress strings.

My family knows Harley Quinn from our annual B:TAS rewatch. She's pretty much the only thing that has them interested in the movie. Bummer.

Same, the all seemed like family on and off set. Also I'm sure Will wanted a hit to revive his blockbuster appeal. Instead of SS2 we might be getting a Harley movie in place of that

You would think. Either you get posters who come off emo like me "give me DARKNESS!!!" or you have depressed sounding posters going "WB why so darrrrrkkkkk?" lol. As said I'm doing a happy dance right now everything or a lot of what critics hated, I wanted. So like with BvS reviews their negatives are my positives. So if the whole bizarro effect holds over from that film, I'll love this as well.

Sorry, I always hear that one brought up when people defend extended cuts, because I didn't like the theatrical version and I wasn't about to sit down and watch a longer version of it no matter how much better it supposedly made the movie.

It was better than BvS though, that's for sure.

I'd still like that Dark Universe film, but if this underperforms we can probably kiss any hope of that one goodbye.
