It's hard to comment right now, without having seen the movie. But I do think it's possible I may agree with the critics this time. We'll see.

As far as we know SS theatrical cut is director's cut already.
'Ayer's cut won' isn't it?
Until it's proven otherwise, SS theatrical cut is how Ayer's preferred cut.

While no way director's cut fixed all so-called bad movies, but I do think that BvS UC is an improvement.
It's just amusing if another home release is somewhat better received movie, again.

right? Though maybe that would be the catalyst for future DC movies to undergo a different editing process for their theatrical releases. Again, unless one of us is a fly-on-the-wall at WB headquarters we are never going to know exactly what goes on behind the scenes. Its all hearsay until then.

I do agree on that tweet about the CG-CG stuff. Bleh. And the others, but I don't agree with it becoming all dark all of a sudden. It still has humorous moments and action. I don't know why they can't take a breather for a moment.

Hearing the complaints about thin characters yet again just boils my blood. When will not get thin characters in a DCEU film because even though I liked MOS I think that thin characterizations were a major problem in that film as well.

Something has gone wrong with WB so-called DC universe if they haven't released one film that has a real positive response.

I swear the DC fans are worse than the Fantastic Four defenders in many ways.

Yup. Another movie which people who watched it said to have problems in editing.
WB must hear it.

Honestly I never imagined to hear beforehand that SS will have editing problems.
Not after notorious BvS theatrical cut editing criticism. Which seemed to be one of fatal deal-breaker.
Things like that is, once you hear about it, you'll pay attention more when you finally watch it.

Just hoping quality control will better for future movies.
Spare WW from that problem.

I've seen those fans. They're all over social media, telling you now its a war zone out there between DC, Marvel and their fans! Don't let RT dictate whether you'll enjoy a film or not, i never do.

Also BVS has a very undeserved 27%.
