I could be way off, but I get the impression they cut Suicide Squad down for more showings, meaning more money in theory. And also to release an extended Blu-ray cut, to market that. To say "here's more Joker footage guys."

I don't think they hate their properties, they just have no clue how to go about adapting any character who doesn't wear a bat costume

This made up stuff about Directors Cut fixing all bad movies is hilarious. I understand why DC fans are desperate though. WB has botched this universe and it is difficult to take that they could screw up so badly.

It's just become sad now. The DCEU is going to be remembered as a complete cluster****, a poorly planned rush job because they developed Marvel envy. No focus or foresight, just throwing darts blindly and hoping to hit a triple 20.

I look forward to more DCEU movies!! Low rotten tomatoes scores and all I don't think we'll ever get a critically acclaimed DC movie ever again, all hope is lost for that, but at least im enjoying the movies xD

You don't say "flavour of the week" or "[frick] Marvel" until your movie comes out and at least common movie fans like it. Talk about egg on your face. Ayer is a great writer and director. Not sure what went wrong here. Training Day, End of Watch were amazing. I have to see this for myself.
