Interesting titles for the 4th season. I wonder what Fallen Angel, Bunker Hill, and Secrets & Lies are referred to, especially with Secrets & Lies being the midseason finale.

Many will look forward to the Elseworlds crossover than anything else.

I haven't loved the crossovers, but I do think they've been improving as they've gone along. Hopefully this one will continue that trend. I have a feeling at least I will favor this one the most, if only for the lack of the Legends crew and all the Supes we're getting in it.

I think someone posted a quote by Amell where he said “Elseworlds” plays more like a proper “movie” (divided into three parts).

If true, this would be a good thing.

My impression of past crossovers is that they’ve been somewhat hampered by the structural constraints. I.e., the respective casts tend to dominate (understandably) in their own show; and the story is then built around this requirement. Whereas, ideally, the story should take precedence - even if that results in (say) Green Arrow getting more focus and screen time in the Supergirl episode.

Granted, it’s a tricky balancing act - since fans of one series aren’t necessarily fans of another. But at this point, most probably accept that these crossovers are unique ensemble events anyway. So just go with the unified “movie” approach. In for a penny, in for a pound.

I was thinking that haha. Surely she knows, the writers have to know that her not knowing by now makes her look stupid. It’s not like a Lex issue either where he literally doesn’t see someone with that much power ever hiding it and she also isn’t blinded by hatred.

I believe I heard that "Elsworlds" will be the winter finale for all three shows. Past crossovers were episode 8 leaving one more episode but I think since Flash S5E8 will be that shows 100th they moved the crossover so as to not repeat the mistake that happened when Arrow's 100th coincided with "Invasion".

Not a bad idea to end midsession with the crossover since it has Superman in it. It’s a great way to end his 80th Anniversary!!

That’s interesting.

Typically, these CW shows are low budget. And recognizable “locations” (like Washington DC) are handled with stock footage or CGI/green screen fakery. I wonder if any of the main actors made the trip. Batwoman seems obvious. But does this mean that the Batwoman pilot will be filmed in Chicago too (to maintain "visual continuity")? And what about the possible spinoff series?

I think they’d likely film some exterior stuff in Chicago that they can use again but I bet the main filming would be in Vancouver.

Ok apparently all 3 leads went to Chicago. Stephen tweeted this pic of Melissa and Grant:

Do we know yet whether this (Chicago) Gotham City is on Earth-1 or Earth-38?

Gotham and Batwoman would seem to be a dramatically spectacular/geek heaven way to start this crossover event. And since they went to the trouble of swapping schedules so that The Flash would be part one, this leads me to suspect we’re dealing with Earth-1.

No we have no idea what's happening on what Earth yet. Seems like with several Earths involved, it's a crapshoot.

Also, I LOVE that they're using Chicago for Gotham. I mean, Vancouver's a lovely and versatile city, but you can only make it look like so many cities before it gets old. Gotham and Chicago are just made for each other:
Like, even if you rolled raw footage of this right here, with no filters or color correction, it would still look more cinematic than these shows normally do, lol. Chicago's just epic like that.

I like that we don’t know and I honestly hope we don’t find out until the crossover airs.

Been thinking actually we usually get a promo for the crossovers mid-late November don’t we?

Also, making a point to start it on the Flash makes me think the exact opposite of @Dr. - I think it means we start by LEAVING Earth-1, and since it finishes on Supergirl, it may finish on her Earth.

I was wondering the same. Given the location, it seems most likely to be someone with the GCPD, but if it were a famous member of the GCPD like Gordon or Bullock, surely that would've made waves when casting (plus, I doubt those characters are on the table for them until Gotham ends). So my guess is some random GCPD detective.

Kind of glad it's not official. Most of it looks good except for Amell and Rose. He just looks so bad in the Flash suit and that's not the best pic of BatWoman.

What about a video game based on the TV show? Get Ms. Benoist to provide Supergirl's voice, of course.

Hell we can’t even get a video game based on Superman, so I won’t be holding my breath for Supergirl.

Melissa did do the voice for that animated Earth-X web series/movie, but that was Overgirl so IDK if that counts, lol.

If Lena knew, then we wouldn't have had those scenes in the 2nd episode where Kara was acting all scared while her and Lena were trying to get away.

I'm glad it's not official because Stephen Amell seems to dominate in that pic along with other versions of Arrow.
