Well I'm sure that's a bonus, lol. But a lot of people have been arguing for pants for a while, since the character has had them in recent comics/video games, so yeah, not too surprising.

Well, when Red Daughter made her little crack about the skirt, I was like.....hmmmmmm......

BTW DR, the boots are still hightop. At least the pic that was taken on set last week....but all you could see were the boots. They were the boots from the armor suit, block type of toe, more reinforced, and wedge rather than a heel like the armor boots.

Yeah I had that thought after the Red Daughter comment too. For a second there in the finale, when she pressed on the "S" I thought we were getting a new suit (with pants) that was like a hybrid of her old one and the anti-Kryptonite one, instead of the same ol' anti-Kryptonite one Lena made for her. So yep, a bit overdue.

They did so well with Supergirl's suit from the beginning, I'm really not worried what they will come up with. I would however like for Winn to come back and be the one to design the suit. I think it will probably be Brainy, but it would be nice to see Winn for an episode.

I'll be sad to see the old uniform go. It has been, and still is, perfect. It is iconic and never something that has been in the way of her fighting crime. Plus, she looks awesome in it!

But if it does have to go, I could go for something like this...

They did so well with Supergirl's suit from the beginning, I'm really not worried what they will come up with. I would however like for Winn to come back and be the one to design the suit. I think it will probably be Brainy, but it would be nice to see Winn for an episode.

It would be cool if Winn left Brainy video instructions for fixing the suits he designed and as part of that left plans for alternate designs. Jeremey wouldn’t have to go to Vancouver to do that. It’s going to be interesting to see how the new suit happens story wise.

I’m confident the suit will look good. The costume designers have a great track record especially on this show and with Melissa. The Overgirl and RD suits were perfect for those characters. Dreamers suit looks great on Nicole. Purity and Pestilence’s suits were rightfully scary and I wish we would’ve seen more of them. The men have good supersuits too. Superman’s works for the show it’s enough like Supergirl’s to show house of El solidarity but still unique, I trust that won’t change. Mon-El’s red suit looked very good on Chris LOL I don’t think Melissa had to act too much when Kara said “Wow” the first time she saw him in it. There are problems with MM but his suit isn’t one of them. To use a baseball analogy the only foul tip on this show suit wise IMO was Reign. That suit wasn’t bad but should’ve been better tailored to Odette’s body.

Well it's not bad, but I miss the red where the skirt was. That broke up the colour rather than looking all blue. Couldn't they have given her some red sections there?

I think they could've given her something vaguely resembling trunks over her pants. Note that I say "resembling". It doesn't have to be actual trunks. It could just be red segments below the belt that evoke that shape. It even has sections there where it could've been red.

But even if it were red trunks, I don't think that would necessarily be such a bad thing. It could look like part of a leotard. Or to think of it another way, even MCU Iron Man with his armour has what is effectively red trunks and then gold legs coming out of that part. If they did something similar to that, it would break up the whole section of blue.

I don't HATE IT but it's way to blue (and not a fan of the hair but that's besides the point) Either give her some more gold trimming or red trim.

And as far as her directing, they could do another episode of early on in Midvale. Everyone has been asking for one.....

Well, if it is Superman and Arrow that die rather than Flash and Supergirl like the comics, I would say she will definitely be coming back.

As far as the suit, I like it.......very powerful, but will give a full on opinion once we actually see it in good lighting.
