I wonder deep down if the cast and crew of Supergirl want to move the show back down to LA like in the 1st season.

Of course they do. 90% of all the DC shows that film in Vancouver would prefer to be in LA.

And Supergirl is unique in that the cast and crew that signed on in season one signed on to work in LA where most of them lived. That’s why Supergirl lost Cat, Lucy, and Max not to mention most of the crew. That’s why Jessie Graff now of American Ninja Warrior fame stopped being Melissa’s stunt double. Anyone who signed on for Arrow, Flash, LoT, and Batwoman knew when they took the job they have to move. I think the majority of the crews on all the shows are locals.

Many of those that did not go simply worked with CBS, not the CW. Crew, stunts, etc.

First assumption: When Lena punches Supergirl, it's in a virtual reality simulation. When Lena walks away from a tearful Kara, it's real.

Well it was a bad simulation, Lena shouldn't have been able to even phase Supergirl.

Also exciting? Julie Gonzalo (Veronica Mars, Dallas, Eli Stone) will join the cast as Andrea Rojas, a.k.a. Acrata. On the surface she’s a “polished businesswoman and heir to a Central American tech empire,” so expect her to go head to head with CatCo owner Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath). But she’s also got a mystical secret that gives her superpowers, which should bring her up against Supergirl, as well. The character was created by Carlo Barberi, Brian K. Vaughan and Humberto Ramos in “Superman Annual #12,” and has appeared previously on TV in Smallville.

Staz Nair, who played Qhono the Dothraki warrior on Game of Thrones, will join as William Dey. The character doesn’t come from comics, and also doesn’t seem to be hiding a superpowered secret. Instead, he’ll butt heads with Kara at CatCo, his cynical personality clashing with her earnest idealism. Oh, and he has some ties to the criminal underworld, which may cause problems down the road.
