--- Oops sorry, this post was meant to be in the X Men photo's thread.. sorry...

i stay in the city and i haven't seen any these posters could u tell me where execatly you saw that?

Anyone know when they'll start doing promo in Australia?

We should make maps...

The giant Wolverine billboard is on the corner of 36th St and 9th Ave. Just look up, you can't miss it.

The Storm billboard is also on 9th Ave, by the Javits Center...I'm guessing 34-33rd St, but I'm not sure?

The Storm/Wolverine billboard with the spotlights is right on Broadway ('Boy From Oz' fans cue 'When I Get My Name In Lights' if you must), it's on the corner of 50th St, and 7th Ave.

I saw posters of Rogue and Wolverine on the corner of 35th and 2nd, and Angel and Beast on 2nd and 80-something (I was on a bus at the time). The Angel and Beast posters are also on 40th, but the Lincoln Tunnel entrance.

Otherwise...check the phone booths! The Wolverine ones are EVERYWHERE, but I've also seen the Jean/Phoenix one on 40th between 6th and 7th, and the Storm on on the corner of 42nd and 5th.

Also--look anywhere that's boarded up around construction sites, and on the subway. I've seen them there too.

Hope that helps!

I've seen them all over Los Angeles also, mainly in downtown or Hollywood.

The only ones I've seen are Wolverine and Storm - mostly Wolverine. Coming out of Penn Station on the train going into New Jersey, Storm is on the building on the right as soon as you get out of the tunnel.

HAHAHAHA

Come on they look nothing like that.
I have to admit that they do look somewhat like rent but that line that phoney bone just said has been said about 10 times before.

Phoney Bone, if you're going to mock...learn how to spell "hundred". :)

You know, in the last 10 years I've seen "Rent" on Broadway, on tour in Chicago, twice in London, and I've seen the movie 3 times. I have a framed poster of the original cast up on my living room wall. And I never made that connection...

FYI, this is the marquee of the Nederlander Theater in NYC. They've been using that artwork since the show opened...10 years ago. It not only won the Tony for Best Musical, it won a Pulitzer.

Doesn't look like it's been a problem for them:

Hey everyone stop. I have the right to think they look like RENT posters.....You have the right to think they don't. Cool it.

Yeah, everyones favourite Harry Knowles posted some mocked X-Rent posters up a little while ago.

I've lost all respect for that guy, while he sometimes provides interesting reviews, set reports, hints on upcoming projects, He is acting like a two year old in regards to anything Ratner/X-Men.

I know he has his internet niche and has a lot of sway and influence with the posters, but seriously, even for the most pedantic fanboy, Ratner's film doesnt look that bad so far. It leaves me wondering why Harry is throwing an immature tantrum/ smear campaign over the studio's choice of Ratner and anything Ratner related.

All of Hollywood's politicals are spoiled children with ADD.

Oh, I think the connection is cool. I love that show. I just never picked it up before. :)

Everyone quotes "Seasons of Love" (because they played it to death when the movie opened)...but there's a line in the title song that goes "Draw a line in the sand...and then make a stand."

Maybe the people at Fox got the idea from Rent?? Just kidding.

....you do have the right....but timeliness is key. Any humor in that joke expired about two weeks ago.

Agreed.

While I personally don't see the validity of your analogy to RENT(and I can understand why some fans are annoyed with hearing the joke now), you are entitled to your opinion, and it should be respected.

I think we should all spend less time trying to change eachother's opinions, and use that energy to focus on the discussion at hand instead.

Yes, I know about RENT. I'm big in theater. Liked the show before and after the movie.

What did you think of the movie?

Anyway...here's some new pics from the city today, they're from my phone, sorry about the quality:

Still trying to get a decent Angel & Beast photo. I've found them a few times, but there's always a car parked in front of them.
