They should get rid of the wall halle's leaning on in the Storm poster. Solves the Kol's "****e on the corner" problem and it shows off the cape in the process.

I have no idea how to solve Wolverine's poster.

The image of Famke is arguably the single greatest thing ever. She was absolutely meant to play Phoenix and that outfit and pose are just stunning. She is gorgeous.

Did X1 and X2 have individual character posters like this.... In the UK I enver saw them, dunno bout the USA? I think its a great idea... all that is missing is sum artwork.. comic style artwork would be even better...
The Sin City poster campaigne was FAB, wud love to see something similar for X3!!

i think they're great! you have to admit, the posters for the first two movies were so boring and bland. no creativity at all.

i do agree that the taglines are all so lazily placed and are all at the same spot in each poster. but i dont think that the intention is to have all the posters lined up, so it just looks weird when we see it that way.

but wow. i like the direction. even if it looks like CK ads to some of you, it's grounding the movies in our world, and i've been asking for that for so long. they look like they could actually exist.

but they could've done a much more dynamic one for storm. cape flowing, standing on a ledge or something, looking up at the sky.... but that's what they went with. i think they used all their creativity on the phoenix one, and then got tired. haha.

I think the box wolverine is near is where you get the cure. The tagline kinda bugs me too it sounds like the liine from rent "no day but today" lol now I have images of the x-men breaking out in that song seasons of love from the show.

well, knowing Brett's love of music video's, i wudnt be surprised.... infact, i really wouldn't be surprised if there was a comedy music video style thing on the DVD...

Everything contributes to a good design, not just pretty pictures.

Great pictures and colours, but I agree the font stood out to me. There is just something not that great about the text. I don't mind them being in the same spot on each poster. It makes them consistent, but the alignment is uncomfortable to my eye.

I'll still take a few of those though. Rogue looks HOT.

I hope they release ones of Iceman, Colossus, Cyclops, Kitty and some of the bad guys.

I agree about Storm. Sure its alright, they made her look nice and tough, but they could have made it sooo much better. I like your idea with her looking up at the sky, cape flowing in the wind. That would be much more eye catching than what they have now, and it would be on par with the Phoenix and Angel posters.

I swear this is the first time I've looked at these movie posters and not thought "Oh, that's Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine", or "That's Halle with a wig on".

They look like the X-Men! These actors have really embodied their characters and the styling of these one sheets looks like it was lifted from the comics. I can't get over the direction they're taking this thing.

It's like Lords Of The Ring meets Stan Lee.

I agree with ya LS!! These chracter posters go beyond average "superhero flick" marketing posters. They have a more epic feel to them, with Wolverine and Beast in particular the sense of doom and anxiety is palpable! I really think they're putting the characters first and not the powers, as they kinda did with the X2 character posters. I'm loving the way the marketing is heading!

I LOVE these posters! They are really cool, and original for the franchise. Everyone looks great! Storm's pose is...interesting, but she looks hot none-the-less, lol.

I used to hate the Phoenix costume, but wow...this poster really makes me love it now!

I know, these posters are absolutley astounding! I was curious how Ratner was gunna tackle those comic friendly poses he was talking about, but after seeing these, i have complete confidence.

I'd love to see some more characters too.... AHHHH i cant wait for this movie.
