No, he received them at Wondercon. He has some others listed on EBay. He is selling Rogue, Beast and Angel. I trust him. The tube itself was bent as well, so I know it was damaged that way. But I do agree, he should have shipped it better than just putting the poster in the tube and hoping it would be alright.

I paid him via Paypal and got insurance. It was shipped via UPS. So I am not sure how this all works. UPS asked if they need to repair or replace it. I told them I am not sure how they would since the poster is creased and I bought it ofr a hell of alot less than it is going for. I am not sure if they will only pay what I paid for it, or pay whatever I pay for a new one. If that is the case, then I would bid on one on EBay. For now, all I can do is hope that he will reimburse me and move on.

I am praying that I find one somewhere for the amount that I paid for it. If he decides not to reimburse me, then I will file a claim with Paypal.

I would iron it, but the creases have caused some of the black area to go white. You know what I mean? The black part of the paper, actually all the colored parts that have been show white under them. Just worried that ironing it will ruin it even more.

I wouldn't touch it if you are planning to seek damages. They'll just turn around and say you ruined it while ironing it.

I am trying to get my money back and need to ship this back to the seller. Anyone know where I can get one cheap? I only paid $100 for this. I am so sad today! With all that has gone bad in my life the past month, this is the one thing that made me happy

That sucks. Once I bought something off ebay that never came.

Not like much else is going on. Iwould definately get on the phone with some folks before you decide anything. Try the seller first, maybe they'll simply replace it which would be simplest. Then try UPS and see what they are willing to do.

Do you know how the person got the poster in the first place. Try ironing as well.

Yeah, like lay it face down, and put some newspaper or something between the iron and the poster and that might work.

What can UPS do apart from reimburse you. They can't get you another poster. Your best chance is with the seller and hope they have another.

lay it face down, put a towel over it and iron. that should get most of the creases out of it. i would frame it also to prevent any further damage

Well, if UPS is willing to reimburse you but at the same time you get to keep the damaged poster (What is UPS gonna do with it anyhow?), then it doesn't matter if you iron it later or not.

I'd say ironing would sort the whole problem is the creases hadn't made those white bits where it had folded. Anyway, I suppose if you had spent $100 on it you want it to be perfect.

Man sorry to hear that Psionic Force. I finally just got my rogue and woverine posters after waiting for two weeks for it. I still haven't open up the tube to see if the posters are okay.
