The Amazing Spider-Man TASM Easter eggs, foreshadowing, and other references!

I like how Aunt May was watching the Daily Bugle news station. Also Peter sees a stack of newspapers from the Daily Bugle. Foreshadows the Daily Bugle's involvement in the next movie.

-Parker!, i need more photos, photos of spiderman:woot:

exactly he´s still learning how to use his powers plus i hope they bring the Web shooters running out for the sequel

I would like to see the Spidey-sense used more in the sequel.

Since they dropped the 'norman is dying' bit, I wonder if we'll see a bedridden Osborn at some point in the sequel (maybe towards the end) Maybe even him mustering up a phone call or something.

Didn't the newspaper say that there would be a reward for who ever could get evidence of the Lizard creature? That is what I thought I saw and it reminded me of TSSM a heck of a lot.

That's why Peter brings a camera into the sewers during the sewer fight. I thought it was a nice touch.

That's actually a callback to Amazing Spider-Man #6, if I'm not mistaken

The whole "who am i" bit was used in the end when Pete walks into his philosophy class, and Gwen's sitting there. The teacher lady says that the most important philosopical question to ask is "who am i" (i disagree but thats beside the point).

Oh and the crane-nod. That seemed like a true reference to the last scene in Spidey 1.

I think the only "easter eggs" were the references to The Daily Bugle and the wrestling ring bit.

Oh wow. I haven't read enough comics haha.

Ya know Peter got kinda lucky that he didn't get his camera back. If he gave those pictures to the Bugle, it would be pretty obvious that he is Spider-man right? Why the heck would a civilian be hanging around in the sewers?

That goes back to the beginning of the movie when the woman at the desk asked Peter, "Are you having trouble finding yourself?"

Nothing, Spider-Man saved him. As far as the formula goes, Dr. Ratha probably keeps it and now they have to continue working on it to save Norman.

Ratha is killed by Lizard in a deleted scene that takes place in the sewer right after peter tracks connors there after the fight at school

Ratha dies? Deleting the scene doesn't really give the audience a good idea of what the hell happened :(

@ Picard - yeah I guess that too. But you can't ignore the opening line from the first ever blockbuster Spidey movie when it's recurring in the reboot. It'd be like ignoring the "Mutation" speech by Xavier.

I'm sure Ratha's Death included "Do you have any idea what you really are", "You want the truth Peter, come and get it" All cut.

FINALLY...I found the picture up top, first off when I saw this shot I recalled USM #1

^ thumbs up on the find. I remember the same arc featuring Goblin attacking Midtown high like the Lizard does. I think it was around ish 4 or 5. I'm sure the filmmakers were taking points from UMS there as well.
