The Amazing Spider-Man TASM Easter eggs, foreshadowing, and other references!

Thats the most hillarious and ridiculous thing I've seen in a long time, such a great laugh.

Have you guys seen the ridiculous post about a possible Venom "suit" sighting in OsCorp? It's pretty bad...

For Those Who Need A Good Laugh

I, socool of Superherohype, mark this date--the thirteenth of November--the date where a black man was honestly mistaken for the Marvel Comics super villain, Venom. We remember this date to laugh at the stupidity of our fellow humans and to cry as racism takes a step in a whole new, and completely uninvited, direction.

You guys are missing the point... Of course that's a black guy with white-rimmed eye-wear. But if you look in the reflection of that eye-wear? You're welcome.

Actually, I'm pretty sure you see Venom through the reflection of everything in TAS-M. True story.

I saw Venom at Capt. Stacy's funeral.

Yes Peter Parker...even he was there!

Reference to MJ? (Right hand corner)

Phew, its been a while since I've been on here. Its good to be back!
Just wanted to pop on and share the easter egg that I spotted. Hopefully this one hasn't been posted yet. :P

This one seems like a more realistic easter egg, because it directly plays into Electro being the villain in the sequel.

You see it throughout the film, but in Connors' office there is a pretty clear picture of a lightning bolt in a night sky. It kind of looks like the lightning is striking something at the bottom of the picture, if its a plane, it definitely plays into the theory that Electro is the one who killed Peter's parents (under Norman's orders).
If that's the angle they're exploring in the sequel, this could be a little hint.

That's a reflection in the second picture, sorry about that.

In case you're wondering what it is, I have a FRIENDS dvd on in the background lol.

And under the lightning photoframe there is a vial of GREEN potion!!! ARGH!!!!

Which is clearly not lizard green, it's GOBLIN green! :oldrazz:

But seriously, if Marc is cryptic enough that could mean something

I am pretty sure they didnt decide on Electro as the villian while filming TASM

Thats just a coincidence

I bet they already had the villains / characters planned out for the whole trilogy

Vanderbilt was already working on the script.

Still, Raimi's Peter seemed confident when he spoke, Webb's Peter did not, with anything. Imo, that's why Webb's Spider-Man is better, but Raimi's Peter is better.

I actually think the opposite. Maguire's Peter always seemed to lack confidence (especially in the first film), kind of wimpy in his line delivery, which may have been a choice by Raimi and Maguire in the characterization of PP. Garfield's Peter came across to me as way more self-assured and confident. Some (though not me) might even say cocky. He rides a skateboard down the hallway, when the English teacher at the end chastises him for being late, his "Sorry, won't happen again" was delivered with all kinds of confidence. As mentioned before, if he seemed meek when talking science with Connors, it could have been because he wasn't supposed to be there and he was trying to hide from Gwen.

Ipodman lol...
Wut

Well, that was something rather refreshing for this topic.

Keep the brilliant statements going.

When I say Maguire's Peter felt more confident when he spoke, I meant when he spoke about things he knew; scientific knowledge. We didn't see this with TAS-M.
