The Dark Knight Rises TDKR SPOILERS (read at your own risk)

I absolutely believe that'll have a different opinion come July 20th. Nolan hasn't failed to wow me yet, and several critics (who are Bat fans) adored it. I'm not dismissing this entire ending yet.

Not really spoilers but how many of you guys knew that Rachel died? Did it ruin it for you? Just curious.

I knew about it but it didn't affect me. Probably has to do with me not liking Rachel anyway.

I didn't know, but I also didn't really care when it did happen. I thought the Rachel Dawes character was particularly annoying, especially when Maggie took the role over. We went from one 15 year old looking actress in the part to a 40 year old looking one (and unattractive at that), neither of whom played it well.

Yeah I didn't mind Rachel so much in the first one, but I did feel it was sort of a throwaway character since they didn't play up the relationship between Bruce and her in BB (in my opinion).

Its when a different actress player her in TDK, and suddenly Rachel had become this Frankenstein creation with Gordon Ramsey-esque that I expected to constantly be asking Bruce, "Hand me my pack of Pal Malls, will ya?" that I took offense to it. I'm pretty big on continuity.

I just don't really dig either actress, I suppose.

Its interesting that the interview with that actress states she worked directly with Hardy but only said a greeting to other cast members.

I'm glad that we haven't been spoiled yet (so far) about any deaths. I mean, I have my thoughts (based on set info) but nothing confirmed.

Maggie made a better lawyer than Katie but the chemistry, as a function of both of the script and the acting, just wasn't there in that aspect of her character. Unlike Batman Begins, where I knew lots of spoilers before watching at the theater, I didn't know much about TDK and was a bit confused as to why Rachel all of a sudden was with Dent.

regarding Blake, I doubt he's in the loop on Bruce's faked death, so perhaps the batcave scene is him paying homage to a fallen hero/friend, and mourning? I can see the film ending with the batsuit rising and Blake looking up at it whispering "thank you"

I think either Lucius or Alfred is a goner - judging by the fact that we think Alfred is around at the end, it may be Lucius that bites it. Which would make sense if hes around, tampering with the WE reactor when Bane is trying to steal it.

We've seen pictures of Lucius messing with the control panel on the WE reactor (and I think the reactor is still present in the background) so we know he's there alone, the scene is focusing around what he's doing on that control panel, he has a look on his face that implies danger or that he is rushing to get something done, and we know Bane ends up with the reactor in the end.

I was hoping it would be Joel Schumacher chained to a wall in the batcave apologising into the camera and saying he has learned his lesson and now knows how to make a good batman movie

i had no idea going in. that whole sequence was so well done. i flinched when the warehouse exploded and my reaction was just like "hoooooooly...."

I'm calming down now about the ending; I trust Shape.....seems it's gonna be a kinda montage ending with multiple characters getting sendoffs. The scenes we all are worried about will take up a short amount of time, not define the whole trilogy!
