[blackout]He doesn't see it, or rather, the shot doesn't show that he sees it, perhaps. But this looks like that vomit emoticon on the Bruce/Selina/Alfred cafe in Italy thing again.[/blackout]

Yup.

Yes, but he was Batman alot longer before giving up the mantle,

To The Joker:

All I have to say is Batman Beyond.

That was definitive, Bruce was forever done, and Terry took over, and most loved that. Bruce is not immortal.

Read my post above in this page.

OK, how about this?

Can Bruce ever truely live be able to live this life? Will he be able to stay away from Gotham? Is he truly past the pain of his parents death?

I think people are discussing the other guy because he's more of an unknown. Besides, most of those questions might be made moot within the context of the film.

[BLACKOUT]Those are questions I never guessed I'd have to a ask when it comes to Bruce Wayne.

It removes the character from everything you connect with him. Batman, Gotham, his company, his determination to fight against crime.

It just doesn't fit his character. He abandons Gotham and runs away to lead a merry life with (maybe) Selina? Leaving Alfred and Gotham behind? :whatever:[/BLACKOUT]

Stoking the fire :

the shot is from behind Blake as he turns the computer on and unbeknownst to him, the suit rises behind him!!!!!!!! OMGOMG

Just preempting.

Haha true that.

TheShape: Tellin' us something, while at the same time tellin' us nothin' at all! Takes talent! :hrt:

I want to say a few things. Read at your own risk.

Firstly, Bruce does not "leave" Alfred. Everyone's freaking out about the "cafe" thing, but it has a solid place in the film AND A REASON for existing. It's not just a random thing as some of you are suspecting. Guess what: it makes Alfred happy.

Second, abandoning Gotham? No. We all know the ending of TDK...a savior who is built out of a lie to inspire the city into rebuilding itself. This time, IT HAPPENS FOR REAL. Batman is the hero Gotham deserved AND the one it needed.

I don't know how to do the applause emoticon but I'm thinking it real hard.

Even now you're not spoiling so much as tempering. I'd have pulled my hair out.

I'd be happiest if Blake found the Batcave and then it blows up with him in it. :hrt: That would be pretty definite.

But it's still built on a lie. Why does he have to fake his death?

Very happy with the first one. We figured as much that it can't be as simple as that considering that Nolan has nailed the Alfred/Bruce relationship that he won't let it just be something simple.

It's a lie as much as concealing his identity is a lie. Not quite in the same league as, "This guy didn't go crazy and kill all those people. I did."

And Bruce doesn't HAVE to do anything he doesn't want to do.

What did I say earlier? If Alfred told him he wished he could just find him happy in some random place, then I would expect Alfred to be happy when it plays out how he wanted. :oldrazz:

I'm still very skeptical about the JGL ending.

theShape are you going to see the marathon when it comes out, or just see TDKR by itself on the night of the 19th?

What about?

He said Blake gets no where near the Batsuit.

So, he just doesn't want to be Batman anymore. He wants to have a normal life. Okay, I get it. It's not just my vision of Batman.

Again, I think thats the whole point. Batman effectively

ENDS. Thus, the whole bunch of "concluding the story and stuff":oldrazz:

Everyone needs to pay close attention to the words that Shape chooses to use when he posts about a spoiler.

Theyre very important. He uses specific words on purpose. Make sure you go back and read them before trying to interpret exactly what he's trying to allude to.

Juss sayin'
