As a DC enthusiast, I wrinkled my brow as I was reading how many '52' spinoffs they are launching this summer/fall. Um, let's see:

*Black Adam: The Dark Age (8 issues)
*Countdown to Adventure (8 issues)
*The All New Booster Gold (ongoing)
*Countdown
*52 Aftermath: The Four Horsemen (6 issues)
*Countdown Presents The Search for Ray Palmer: Wildstorm (I could easily see this expanding to a huge number if it sells)
*Countdown to Mystery (8 issues)
...*Oh yeah, Metal Men (8 issues?)

...And that's just through September. UGH!! :(

So who is buying what? Who of you will pony up for ALL of these coke lines, and who's going to be choosy? And who's going to boycott DC's attempt to grab your nuts and twist'em for every dime you're worth! :wow:

I'm only buying Booster and Black Adam (i even got a Black Adam t shirt :P so you know have too get that mini)

I'm sold on Booster Gold for sure

But the others look good too. :(

I'm already getting Countdown. It's kind of a given if you're the least bit into DC.

The Countdown to Adventure looks like fun because my favorite arc from '52' was the space odesy that dealt w/Animal Man & Adam Strange.

And the '52 Aftermath' deals with the DC's Big 3 vs. The Four Horsemen of Death. :wow:

And the Search for Ray Palmer? Who doesn't want to read that?? (Corp/Kip/Leaguer/ect...)

...Like I said before, "UGH!"

"'F' You, DC :whatever:"

I'm already reading Countdown.

I'm picking up the Black Adam mini-series and the Booster Gold ongoing.

I might get The Four Horsemen mini depending on word of mouth. Same with Countdown to Adventure, though I'm less interested with that.

The rest I'm passing up.

Black Adam: The Dark Age (8 issues)
Countdown to Adventure (8 issues)
The All New Booster Gold (ongoing)
Countdown
52 Aftermath: The Four Horsemen (6 issues)
Countdown Presents The Search for Ray Palmer: Wildstorm

Hmmm....
Countdown I already have.
I don't see what could possibly happen in BA to make it a necessary read.
Maybe Booster Gold.
Maybe Countdown to Adventure.
A big F' you to countdown to Mystery.
Probably to the Horsemen.
Possibly to Wildstorm.

*Black Adam: The Dark Age (8 issues)
*Countdown to Adventure (8 issues) Maybe
*The All New Booster Gold (ongoing) Solid YES
*Countdown Yes
*52 Aftermath: The Four Horsemen (6 issues) No
*Countdown Presents The Search for Ray Palmer: Wildstorm (I could easily see this expanding to a huge number if it sells) Yes
*Countdown to Mystery (8 issues) Maybe
...*Oh yeah, Metal Men (8 issues?) See how first issue is, then decide

What a twist!

The search for Ray Palmer, Countdown, Booster Gold and Black Adam. I'll probably just wait for the trades, except Booster Gold, that may be a book that I get monthly. That and All-Flash.

I might also try out that Crime Bible mini..
Batwoman and the Question might be good characters if given a proper story

I'll try all. Cut them down if I find them not interesting.

I don't see myself sticking with the Crime Bible thing for long. It seems to have something to do with Batwoman, and I'd hate to see that *****e again.

Those are the only ones I'm sold on for now. Although I love Animal Man so I may fall for the Beechen trap that is Countdown to Adventure

I'm finding myself agreeing with you a lot lately?

Hatred of Batwoman could very well be the world's last hope for peace, binding all human beings under one common cause.

I'll be trying them all, but I could easily see dropping Booster Gold and Metal Men after the first issue. Countdown is easily the worst thing I read each month, but I buy it because I still appreciate the context into which everything gets put. I'm looking forward to Crime Bible and the Kyle Rayner stuff the most.

"That sounds like something out of Babylon 5... in the year 2053 hateread of Batwoman was our last... best hope for peace."

The only ones I'm really excited about are Booster Gold, the Metal Men, and Countdown to Mystery. Steve Gerber is just phenomenal.

What is, none of the above, Alex?
