I can't wait to see the part in the fight where Batman forced Bane back inside the City Hall. I imagine that's where the fight will end.

Is Bane in City Hall when Batman shows up? In the prologue sizzle reel Bane is walking out, swaggered out with his hands on his vest of course... after that I heard he drops his coat in an insane fashion and starts looking for Batman (trailer 3)

Yup. That's the start of the fight (the one shot in NY). IIRC, it starts at the bottom level of the stairs and Bane is winning. And then in the fight they shot in Pittsburgh (2nd half of the fight I would assume), Batman started kicking Bane's ass and he forced him back inside the City Hall.

It would appear so. I'm under the impression Bane makes himself Mayor or something like that of Gotham.

The riot doesn't just break out, the police come marching down the street warning the gathering mercs and Gotham citizens to disperse or they will be shot.

Bane probably comes out to see the commotion as the police head up the street.

The three tumblers block off any escape route as the Police get closer

The mercs wait

The tumbler suffers an explosion (From the Bat Maybe?) and the Police go running into the mercs/Citizens.

It would seem, to me that this is a trap and Batman has set it up this way so that it just looks like a orderly march but then comes swooping in and leads out a full out assault on Bane and his forces.

This could explain Bane's upset face in trailer three as he realizes he's actually outnumbered.

We never saw Gordon during the City Hall fight, right? We only saw him during the chase when he's at the top of the HEMMT truck (hiding/trying to get to the driver's seat/whatever)? Sounds like he, Foley, Batman, and Catwoman divided the labor.

Tatelia also seems to be with Bane inside the City Hall before Bane came out to check things out. The new king and queen of Gotham. :D

Blake is also missing from the riot, which is interesting.

Though someone rams a Greyhound into the HEMTT/Tumblers.

I'm thinking it could be one of two things - a) he's doing something to help out that's not part of the chase (save the orphaned kids?); b) he's dead

I actually love this, and Batmans EMP gun from the trailers is the reason why no weapons are being used? Hmm..

omfg... so I just watched that part of the trailer again and I realized what I love so much about Tom Hardy's Bane... his walk.

When he's walking up the stairs is hands are gripping his vest, and as Batman throws the haymaker Bane's hands are already at shoulder level so it makes it easier for him to block punches. In almost all the shots of Bane walking/standing his hands are gripping his vest. I love it

Sorry back to the rising looks :yay:

I don't think that's the reason Hardy is gripping his vesst. I think he's just copying the popular and typical pose that the US military/law enforcement dudes like to do. A lot of guys in the army stand and walk while gripping their vest if they are not engaged in anything active.

The time of the city hall fight may be when Blake is getting smacked up by Christopher Judge?

There was a rumor that:

he's leading people out of Gotham via the Tunnels because there's a high chance the doomsday device will go off again. This links up with Catwoman blowing a hole in the stacked up cars, allowing passage out of Gotham. (I believe the Catwoman on the Batpod shot in trailer 3 is her going to do that. The Battle starts at Dawn and goes through the day as the riots grip Gotham.

Guns are being used, one of the cops falls over dead from being shot. They all shoot initially but most of Bane's men are unarmed men and women.

The tumblers may be immobilized though

I can see that scenario. :yay:

I actually thought Christopher Judge's character was Bane in the trailer on first glance

So did I, it just seemed like such a Bane thing to do, throw a guy down a hill with one hand. Also, in the trailer when Bane is kneeling down towards the camera, there is a black guy standing behind him. Chris Judge's roll might be more than we think

Batman seems to be in that Judge/Blake scene too, right? I remember Christopher Judge talking about Bale learning the fight scenes quick. So, did Bats save Blake?

Or it might be another black guy... He's only talked about working with Levitt, I think.

Oh did he? hm ok.

Bats may save Blake. He goes to the collapsed tunnel where Blake gets pushed down, which happens to be where all the police are escaping in the latest picture.
Still not sure if there's anything to that rumour of Blake falling into the ice...

Yes! Here! :awesome:

Batman appears like an angry bat-demon.

Bats might be involved but from what Chris Judge said about his injury in set Blake gives it back to him :funny:
