So basically they took Poster 1, added color, then shopped in a shot from TDK over it. Who is the person asleep at the wheel in the marketing department over there?

Someone needs to be fired. All the assets they must have over there and this is the second fan quality poster they've churned out... not to mention unimaginative as hell. This is a billion dollar franchise, for gods sake.

that being said, let's not lost hope by this...the movie will be bigger than all these, even if we dont get more posters or trailers...at the end the movie will do the talking.

This might be the second time a Batman movie's marketing campaign ends up costing WB people their job. First time it was Batman Begins and Superman Returns. TDKR is guaranteed to make a certain amount of money at the box office, but this marketing campaign seems to be aiming for the floor rather than the ceiling.
