It's not a poster. Just a piece of promotional art:

Yeah, I wasn't sure what else to call it. But it's pretty neat.

Not seen that... kinda cool, not groundbreaking in the art department, but I'm happy that we might actualy get some batarangs thrown in this movie! We already got the stealth takedowns back :hrt:

I have just read the article from page 18 (that one in Spanish).

In the article they quote Nolan and he said that they continue with the saga and they will take the audience to place that they don't expect (mysterious) and Nolan didn't want to make it "bigger" (When he refer bigger he means to put more action without sense), he want to develop the story.
They filmed in the fortress Mehrang that was really "insane" (Said by Bale) and Emma Thomas explain the character of Bruce like someone who need act, can't be quiet.
The magazine said that it seems that the third movie will talk about "Pain", which have always been there (this said by Bale) Bale said: "Now he got to face a difficult choice, How long can he stand? Can he reinvent himself, or just self-destruction?"
"The movie is more violent than the last one" (Bale)
"The most dangerous of Bane is his ideal" (Bale)
"She (Catwoman) is an incredible character" (Anne)
"We want to close the circle, tell the whole story. We have the big ending, and for years, we wanted to share it".
The page of Catwoman is talking about Anne and her work, and the last is talking about the Wayne Manor and the place.

It is not word by word, I just traslate the part we didn't read before.

Thanks! Much appreciated!

Yeah, I'm hoping we get some batarang throws.

Bats better use those batarangs! :argh:

So this poster was actually ATTATCHED to the third poster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bet WB were looking at these forums thinking "they are so busy *****ing they are missing the REAL AWESOME poster". I would love it if Warner intentionally made a ****e poster to hide this poster cause they knew everyone would look at it once and never again :oldrazz::oldrazz::oldrazz:

You're wellcome. It's not the entire article of course, I just take the "interesting" parts

Didn't we get our hopes up based on that promo art of Batman holding a batarang in TDK? And then saw no sign of one? :( Lol, maybe we should contain our expectations.

Thank you! Sounds like a good read

Or they had all this planned for a little later, but decided to rush it out because of such an overwhelmingly bewildered reaction to the crappy first poster.

Anybody notice the 'chalk' style bat emblem in the middle of the Catwoman kiss on that new poster?

Or am I hallucinating?

If I'm not, that's a beautiful suggestion, isn't it..?

So for years they had the ending planned all along?

Whatever happened to "I only focus on one film at a time and haven't even thought of what could happen next because I'm so busy with this one" Nolan?

Then surely they'd have to do something to essentially tell everyone that something was hidden

Did they say that?

I hope they're working their asses off on a replacement for the current theatrial poster. Don't want that being the main represention for this film.

Something that confuses me is that in the Rolling Stones interview Bale says that Nolan has apparently had three movies in mind since the beginning (even though Bale was apparently only interested in starring only in one movie but decided to come back after seeing what Nolan did) yet there's other interviews where Nolan apparently says he never had a trilogy in mind and approached Begins with a stand alone mindset. Yet the Joker card at the end would suggest otherwise.

You have to admit, there's a lot coming out in the span of maybe two days here. I wonder if they'll run dry too soon.

That's exactly what I was thinking. In recent interviews they've indicated that Nolan has apparently had the entire trilogy in mind since the beginning.

Wasn't Bale contracted for 3? He always says he has no choice but to come back even if Nolan decides not to come back which was something he fears.

Yep that's true. I have just read that line and Bale said that he talked about the trilogy while they were filming BB
