Three hours long? This I doubt. Despite that there is a lot going on, we still haven't seen the film and can't comprehend how everything is handled. We've seen like not even ten miuts worth of footage and it's difficult to predict how everything will come together in length exactly. Nolan also likes a certain pace to things. I'm thinking at the most 165 minutes. With credits.

I'll believe it when I see it.

If this really is over 3 hours I really hope there's not an intermission.
My bladder may not agree with me but I don't want any sort of mandatory break from the story.

Yes, please do then! Just out of curiosity, how do you do it? Do you have a DVR and somehow get it off of there....or do you have a computer with a TV Tuner and you can record with it?

EyeTV HD for my Mac. Basically you hook up your HD DVR box to the EyeTV HD through component cables. Then hook up the EyeTV through USB to the Mac computer. The EyeTV software on the Mac then displays whatever is coming from the DVR box. You then can record it and even edit the footage however you want. I would have done it for the TV spots, but I don't watch shows like American Idol or Modern Family (never mind recording them). But since I know the MTV thing is definitely happening, I can be prepared for it. Here is an example of some golf footage I recorded earlier this year and posted to YouTube:

 The EyeTV HD is awesome, I have one i use specifically for football matches.

Just realized with Tom filming Mad Max in nowhereville we'll barely get to see new press of him for this movie. GODDAMNIT!!! The same thing happened for Inception. :argh:

Only problem is it takes up a ton of storage space on the computer. I use it for football games, but I typically record in iPad quality instead of full HD. Full HD at 3.5 to 4 hours ends up being like a Blu-ray (20+ gigs). Just not worth the trouble. I have a 46 inch HDTV. I've found that iPad quality looks pretty damn good. It's around 4-5 gigs for 3.5 to 4 hours. It's a lot more reasonable for storage purposes.

WB Marketing Exec: "Okay guys, let's REALLY roll this thing out! Release the limited edition Taco Bell cups!"

Employee: "Um, sir, the movie came out last week."

WB Marketing Exec: "...oh."

Monday - Crappy poster
Tuesday - Better posters
Wednesday - New stills + TV spots
Thursday - More new stills + new banners + set report preview + dialect coach watching current cut of film
Friday - Kane's birthday + MTV announcement + ?

:hyper:

Anybody know anything about a UK TV Spot? This one is slightly different than the AI TV spot:

It looks like they added scenes from the teaser (side view of pushups, Bat/Bane fight) and trailer #2 (Bruce at the prison, Bruce jumping out of the window). I can't remember what they took out. :funny:

It's a fake/fanmade. US website URL and US MPAA PG-13 rating! ;)

What have I missed today, guys?

A couple of new banners dropped early in the morning.

Were you around for the discussion about the 3 hour length and the dialect coach who saw the movie?

To sum up the last thread for those a bit lost:

-Roger Nall tweeted that his wife works on TDKR and saw the movie today. He tweeted it was 3 hours+ long. He deleted the tweet.

-It was discovered that his wife is a dialect coach (Francie Brown). He tweeted before that she was on an airplane with some of the cast and landed in Pittsburgh over last summer. He also tweeted that she worked with Marion Cotillard on TDKR.

-On a webpage it says that she "very often will review the finished cut and look for places where there are slips, so that he can ADR [automated dialogue replacement] those slips"

MTV awards are showing off new footage.

One thing I've noticed from all of this promotional material is how great the suit has been looking, ESPECIALLY the cowl. It looks as if they've made it look like less of a helmet.
