The All-Encompassing AQUAMAN Movie Thread - Part 7

I wonder when we will get a forum for the Aquaman sequel?

Feels like yesterday that the movie was released, it’s crazy it’s already on digital download. Time flies

So, I wanna buy Aquaman on digital, but I can't find it anywhere (Amazon, Microsoft store, Google play); is it a regional thing?? As in is out on digital in the states but not the rest of the world yet???

I haven't checked as I mostly wait for the Bluray, but it's possible that the digital release is for US only. Have you checked iTunes ?

A commercial I saw today said “buy on iTunes”, didn’t say “digital,” so maybe it’s an iTunes exclusive for now or something?

I was so confused when I saw this on tumblr... I really thought I missed one of Jason Momoa's SNL skits...

I got it on Google Play the other day but I am in the States. Cant imagine they delayed it elsewhere...

Aquaman Rooftop Fight - 16 Bit Scenes

WB took it down once. :funny:

This is a really insignificant/obsessive question for anyone who has the digital copy or is really good with dialogue. In the dialogue between Tom Curry and Arthur right outside the bar (before Mera emerges), what does Tom say to Arthur "we need to go home and work on that ____. Your grandad would be banging our heads" or something like that. It's been nagging at me ever since I saw it in the theater lol

I picked this up on Digital Ultra HD and I was blown away. This is going to be reference worthy 4K when it comes to disc. I saw this in theater, but honestly this picture was so much better on my 4k TV. Every single color pop was vibrant and the HDR was amazing. I was shocked at how good this looked. I mean I knew it would be a decent transfer, but wow. I was also very impressed with the sound quality as well.

Yeap, not out in my region.

I really don't get why they do this (as in, I don't know, legal shenanigans or something??), but just like with shows that come to Netflix many months after they do on the States, this only encourages torrents/illegal streamming; I'm not justifying it, I'm just saying that if you didn't have to wait, you'd probably be more likely to buy the real deal.

Well, now you’re being punished.

If that's the price to pay to not be assimilated by Apple's products, so be it.

Well, I figured that it was time for me to make a post here. Having just seen the film twice now, I can honestly say that this film is one of my favorite comic book films.

Is it as complex and thought provoking like Nolan's Dark Knight films? Nope and nor does it have to be. The performances given by the main cast and the chemistry shared between Jason and Amber were the real highlights of this film and the cinematography and action sequences were simply breathtaking. I was also surprised on how the film was able to create high stakes despite none of the main cast members being killed off.

I'm sure there are others that have said this already but under James Wan's direction, this film really breathed in new life for Jason's portrayal of the character and made me a fan of him as well. This film and Patty's Wonder Woman film just reinforced my belief that we should have gotten these solo outings BEFORE any Justice League film as the studio would have been able to generate more anticipation going into Justice League by promoting these already established and popular heroes crossing paths with each other on the big screen (which is really the biggest selling point for any crossover ensemble).

I'd also like to add that there were times that I felt like I was watching a film that was produced by Disney, namely films like "John Carter" and "Prince of Persia". Now I'm not referring about some of the bad writing and acting that I saw in those two Disney films. I'm talking about the fun adventurous mood that all three films share along while accompanied by similar yet memorable music.

just rewatched this movie in 4k..this might be the most beautiful movie to ever grace this world
its totally Unreal what James wan & his people did on this movie,
