Not true. That's one reason why I enjoyed TAS-M so well before the villain even shows up. Nolan slowly started to grab an audience that cared for the story as much or even more than action. X-Men: First Class is a great example of a CBM following suit.

It worked for me and you because we are CB fans,as far as I saw,the general audience didnt enjoy it as much as SM1 because of relatively lesser action

Nope, BB is better than Iron Man and S-M when it comes to a near perfect origin film. But alas, we've never had a PERFECT origin film.
The minimum criteria I would want for an origin film is that I understand what the Hero is saying
SM1 is the perfect combination of Pacing, plot, story, emotion, action, humour,Villian and drama. The best you can ask for as far as origin goes

BB-No humour(But I guess you cant ask that from Batman),Pathetic action and shaky cam,Bad pacing in the 3rd act,Poor Villian if you ask me
Characters created out of nowhere, the way he destroys Ra's liar, his voice, the way he reveales himself to Rachel Dawes was even more pathetic than Webb's version,The ending-Pathetic-Never got the 'I will be with you when Gotham no longer needs Batman' Dafuq does she mean?(very poor rip-off of SM1's ending)
Way to many flaws for my liking

SM1 has very few if not negligible flaws

Nope, the margin is narrow if you ask me
SM2 easily scores way higher in the Action and Humour department.

Although you can't take out scenes or use your imagination to take the scenes out, so Spider-Man 3 is a horrible and terrible film and really brings down what Sam Raimi tried to do with his Spidey installments.
1 odd scene and a small subplot dont make the movie horrible for me,you should be more flexible on forming opinions about movies

And yes the difference will be the same with BB and S-M 1 as BB is better than S-M 1

Dude BB is a severly overrated movie, you cant enjoy the movie like you do SM1
I have watched SM1 a thousand times and I still watch it when it comes on TV,BB I will only watch if I dont have anything remotely interesting to do

BB is overrated because of how TDK did? That makes no sense...so, I can say nonsense as well: Spider-Man is overrated because how good Spider-Man 2 was

Except that SM1 was always rated highly, even before SM2 came out

That's what most are saying it will reach, passing 700 million of course. 800 million for this is pretty much expected. The sequel will bring in the big bucks.

It will reach 700M tops,I am putting my money on something near 650M-680M

I am not including the TV rights money and Blu-ray sales

Im telling you the big name BO sites are telling 800 million, bet what you want but I say that figure. Whatever you want to believe.

Enough on film comparisons, stick to the damn box office.

I don't really feel like it would be realistic for it to reach 800M..

the big name sites reported that Sony felt the movie would reach 800M. No one else to my knowledge has weighed in on how much its gonna do.

We have to stick to the box office, so if you want to continue this topic in the lounge, I'd be happy to inform you of why you're wrong

Depending on China the range will fall in between 755-795 m.

I would be very happy if it reaches 800M
Was just stating what I felt is realistic

I think TAS can reach $800 million, but it will be a stretch.

The way I figure it, here are the numbers through yesterday and my best guess off-the-cuff projections at totals in parenthesis:

Domestic: $205 million ($260 million)
International: $320 million ($515 million)

I'm assuming China (which hasn't released TAS yet) will be in the range of Avengers, so $70 to $80 million.

The $775 million of my guess puts it within striking distance of $800 million. But what do i know? Nothing, just speculating. :yay:
